- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 162
قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (162
"کہہ دیجئے کہ میری نماز ,میری عبادتیں ,میری زندگی ,میری موت سب اللہ کے لئے ہے جو عالمین کا پالنے والا ہے"
[YOUSAF ALI] Say: "Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds:
[ PICKTHAL ] Say: Lo! my worship and my sacrifice and my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
[ SHAKIR ] Say. Surely my prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are (all) for Allah, the Lord of the worlds;
- Sura: 13 - ar-Ra`ad (The Thunder) Ayat: 22
وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ (22
اور جنہوں نے مرضی خدا حاصل کرنے کے لئے صبر کیا ہے اور نماز قائم کی ہے اور ہمارے رزق میں سے خفیہ و علانیہ انفاق کیا ہے اور جو نیکی کے ذریعہ برائی کو دفع کرتے رہتے ہیں آخرت کا گھر ان ہی کے لئے ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord; Establish regular prayers; spend, out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (eternal) home,-
[ PICKTHAL ] Such as persevere in seeking their Lord's Countenance and are regular in prayer and spend of that which We bestow upon them secretly and openly, and overcome evil with good. Theirs will be the sequel of the (heavenly) Home,
[ SHAKIR ] And those who are constant, seeking the pleasure of their Lord, and keep up prayer and spend (benevolently) out of what We have given them secretly and openly and repel evil with good; as for those, they shall have the (happy) issue of the abode
- Sura: 47 - Muhammad (Muhammad) Ayat: 28
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ اتَّبَعُوا مَا أَسْخَطَ اللَّهَ وَكَرِهُوا رِضْوَانَهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ (28
یہ اس لئے کہ انہوں نے ان باتوں کا اتباع کیا ہے جو خدا کو ناراض کرنے والی ہیں اور اس کی مرضی کو ناپسند کیا ہے تو خدا نے بھی ان کے اعمال کو برباد کرکے رکھ دیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] This because they followed that which called forth the Wrath of Allah, and they hated Allah's good pleasure; so He made their deeds of no effect.
[ PICKTHAL ] That will be because they followed that which angereth Allah, and hated that which pleaseth Him. Therefor He hath made their actions vain.
[ SHAKIR ] That is because they follow what is displeasing to Allah and are averse to His pleasure, therefore He has made null their deeds.
