- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 210
هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي ظُلَلٍ مِنَ الْغَمَامِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَقُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ (210
یہ لوگ اس بات کا انتظار کررہے ہیں کہ ابر کے سایہ کے پیچھے عذابِ خدا یا ملائکہ آجائیں اور ہر امر کا فیصلہ ہوجائے اور سارے امور کی بازگشت تو خدا ہی کی طرف ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Will they wait until Allah comes to them in canopies of clouds, with angels (in His train) and the question is (thus) settled? but to Allah do all questions go back (for decision).
[ PICKTHAL ] Wait they for naught else than that Allah should come unto them in the shadows of the clouds with the angels? Then the case would be already judged. All cases go back to Allah (for judgment).
[ SHAKIR ] They do not wait aught but that Allah should come to them in the shadows of the clouds along with the angels, and the matter has (already) been decided; and (all) matters are returned to Allah.
- Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) Ayat: 83
أَفَغَيْرَ دِينِ اللَّهِ يَبْغُونَ وَلَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ (83
کیا یہ لوگ دینِ خدا کے علاوہ کچھ اور تلاش کررہے ہیں جب کہ زمین و آسمان کی ساری مخلوقات بہ رضا و رغبت یا بہ جبر وکراہت اسی کی بارگاہ میں سر تسلیم خم کئے ہوئے ہے اور سب کو اسی کی بارگاہ میں واپس جانا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Do they seek for other than the Religion of Allah?-while all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back.
[ PICKTHAL ] Seek they other than the religion of Allah, when unto Him submitteth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and unto Him they will be returned.
[ SHAKIR ] Is it then other than Allah's religion that they seek (to follow), and to Him submits whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him shall they be returned.
- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 57
قُلْ إِنِّي عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَكَذَّبْتُمْ بِهِ ۚ مَا عِنْدِي مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِ ۚ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۖ يَقُصُّ الْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْفَاصِلِينَ (57
کہہ دیجئے کہ میں پروردگار کی طرف سے کھلی ہوئی دلیل رکھتا ہوں اور تم نے اسے جھٹلایا ہے تو میرے پاس وہ عذاب نہیں ہے جس کی تمہیں جلدی ہے حکم صرف اللہ کے اختیار میں ہے وہی حق کو بیان کرتا ہے اور وہی بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Say: "For me, I (work) on a clear sign from my Lord, but ye reject Him. What ye would see hastened, is not in my power. The command rests with none but Allah: He declares the truth, and He is the best of judges."
[ PICKTHAL ] Say: I am (relying) on clear proof from my Lord, while ye deny Him. I have not that for which ye are impatient. The decision is for Allah only. He telleth the truth and He is the Best of Deciders.
[ SHAKIR ] Say: Surely I have manifest proof from my Lord and you call it a lie; I have not with me that which you would hasten; the t judgment is only Allah's; He relates the truth and He is the best of deciders.
- Sura: 30 - ar-Room (The Romans) Ayat: 26
وَلَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ كُلٌّ لَهُ قَانِتُونَ (26
آسمان و زمین میں جو کچھ بھی ہے سب اسی کی ملکیت ہے اور سب اسی کے تابع فرمان ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] To Him belongs every being that is in the heavens and on earth: all are devoutly obedient to Him.
[ PICKTHAL ] Unto Him belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient unto Him.
[ SHAKIR ] And His is whosoever is in the heavens and the earth; all are obedient to Him.
- Sura: 30 - ar-Room (The Romans) Ayat: 30
فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا ۚ فِطْرَتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ (30
آپ اپنے رخ کو دین کی طرف رکھیں اور باطل سے کنارہ کش رہیں کہ یہ دین وہ فطرت الہیۤ ہے جس پر اس نے انسانوں کو پیدا کیا ہے اور خلقت الہٰی میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں ہوسکتی ہے یقینا یہی سیدھا اور مستحکم دین ہے مگر لوگوں کی اکثریت اس بات سے بالکل بے خبر ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] So set thou thy face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) Allah's handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind: no change (let there be) in the work (wrought) by Allah: that is the standard Religion: but most among mankind understand not.
[ PICKTHAL ] So set thy purpose (O Muhammad) for religion as a man by nature upright - the nature (framed) of Allah, in which He hath created man. There is no altering (the laws of) Allah's creation. That is the right religion, but most men know not -
[ SHAKIR ] Then set your face upright for religion in the right state-- the nature made by Allah in which He has made men; there is no altering of Allah's creation; that is the right religion, but most people do not know--
