- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 26
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي أَنْ يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۚ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيرًا وَيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيرًا ۚ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلَّا الْفَاسِقِينَ (26
اللہ اس بات میں کوئی شرم نہیں محسوس کرتا کہ وہ مچھر یا اس سے بھی کمتر کی مثال بیان کرے. اب جو صاحبانِ ایمان ہیں وہ جانتے ہیں کہ یہ سب پروردگار کی طرف سے بر حق ہے اور جنہوں نے کفر اختیار کیا ہے وہ یہی کہتے ہیں کہ آخر ان مثالوں سے خدا کا مقصد کیا ہے. خدا اسی طرح بہت سے لوگوں کو گمراہی میں چھوڑ دیتا ہے اور بہت سوں کو ہدایت دے دیتا ہے اور گمراہی صرف انہیں کا حصّہ ہے جو فاسق ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),-
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! Allah disdaineth not to coin the similitude even of a gnat. Those who believe know that it is the truth from their Lord; but those who disbelieve say: What doth Allah wish (to teach) by such a similitude? He misleadeth many thereby, and He guideth many thereby; and He misleadeth thereby only miscreants;
[ SHAKIR ] Surely Allah is not ashamed to set forth any parable-- (that of) a gnat or any thing above that; then as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who disbelieve, they say: What is it that Allah means by this parable: He causes many to err by it and many He leads aright by it! but He does not cause to err by it (any) except the transgressors,
- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 29
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ ۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ (29
وہ خدا وہ ہے جس نے زمین کے تمام ذخیروں کو تم ہی لوگوں کے لئے پیدا کیا ہے. اس کے بعد اس نے آسمان کا رخ کیا تو سات مستحکم آسمان بنا دیئے اور وہ ہر شے کا جاننے والا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.
[ PICKTHAL ] He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth. Then turned He to the heaven, and fashioned it as seven heavens. And He is knower of all things.
[ SHAKIR ] He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth, and He directed Himself to the heaven, so He made them complete seven heavens, and He knows all things.
- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 117
بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ (117
وہ زمین و آسمان کا موجد ہے اور جب کسی امر کا فیصلہ کرلیتا ہے تو صرف کن کہتا ہے اور وہ چیز ہوجاتی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: When He decreeth a matter, He saith to it: "Be," and it is.
[ PICKTHAL ] The Originator of the heavens and the earth! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.
[ SHAKIR ] Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth, and when He decrees an affair, He only says to it, Be, so there it is.
- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 156
الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ (156
جو مصیبت پڑنے کے بعد یہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں اور اسی کی بارگاہ میں واپس جانے والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return":-
[ PICKTHAL ] Who say, when a misfortune striketh them: Lo! we are Allah's and lo! unto Him we are returning.
[ SHAKIR ] Who, when a misfortune befalls them, say: Surely we are Allah's and to Him we shall surely return.
- Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) Ayat: 191
(191
جو لوگ اٹھتے, بیٹھتے, لیٹتے خدا کو یاد کرتے ہیں اور آسمان و زمین کی تخلیق میں غوروفکر کرتے ہیں... کہ خدایا تو نے یہ سب بے کار نہیں پیدا کیا ہے- تو پاک و بے نیاز ہے ہمیں عذاب جہّنم سے محفوظ فرما
[YOUSAF ALI] Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.
[ PICKTHAL ] Such as remember Allah, standing, sitting, and reclining, and consider the creation of the heavens and the earth, (and say): Our Lord! Thou createdst not this in vain. Glory be to Thee! Preserve us from the doom of Fire.
[ SHAKIR ] Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord! Thou hast not created this in vain! Glory be to Thee; save us then from the chastisement of the fire:
- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 38
وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّا أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُمْ ۚ مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ (38
اور زمین میں کوئی بھی رینگنے والا یا دونوں پروں سے پرواز کرنے والا طائر ایسا نہیں ہے جو اپنی جگہ پر تمہاری طرح کی جماعت نہ رکھتا ہو -ہم نے کتاب میں کسی شے کے بیان میں کوئی کمی نہیں کی ہے اس کے بعد سب اپنے پروردگار کی بارگاہ میں پیش ہوں گے
[YOUSAF ALI] There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.
[ PICKTHAL ] There is not an animal in the earth, nor a flying creature flying on two wings, but they are peoples like unto you. We have neglected nothing in the Book (of Our decrees). Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.
[ SHAKIR ] And there is no animal that walks upon the earth nor a bird that flies with its two wings but (they are) genera like yourselves; We have not neglected anything in the Book, then to their Lord shall they be gathered.
- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 59
۞ وَعِنْدَهُ مَفَاتِحُ الْغَيْبِ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۚ وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِنْ وَرَقَةٍ إِلَّا يَعْلَمُهَا وَلَا حَبَّةٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْأَرْضِ وَلَا رَطْبٍ وَلَا يَابِسٍ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ (59
اور اس کے پاس غیب کے خزانے ہیں جنہیں اس کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا ہے اور وہ خشک و تر سب کا جاننے والا ہے -کوئی پتہ بھی گرتا ہے تو اسے اس کا علم ہے زمین کی تاریکیوں میں کوئی دانہ یا کوئی خشک و تر ایسا نہیں ہے جو کتاب همبین کے اندر محفوظ نہ ہو
[YOUSAF ALI] With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read).
[ PICKTHAL ] And with Him are the keys of the Invisible. None but He knoweth them. And He knoweth what is in the land and the sea. Not a leaf falleth but He knoweth it, not a grain amid the darkness of the earth, naught of wet or dry but (it is noted) in a clear record.
[ SHAKIR ] And with Him are the keys of the unseen treasures-- none knows them but He; and He knows what is in the land and the sea, and there falls not a leaf but He knows it, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything green nor dry but (it is all) in a clear book.
- Sura: 10 - Yunus (Jonas) Ayat: 5
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاءً وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ (5
اسی خدا نے آفتاب کو روشنی اورچاند کو نور بنایا ہے پھر چاند کی منزلیں مقرر کی ہیں تاکہ ان کے ذریعہ برسوں کی تعداد اور دوسرے حسابات دریافت کرسکو -یہ سب خدا نے صرف حق کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے کہ وہ صاحبان هعلم کے لئے اپنی آیتوں کو تفصیل کے ساتھ بیان کرتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.
[ PICKTHAL ] He it is Who appointed the sun a splendour and the moon a light, and measured for her stages, that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning. Allah created not (all) that save in truth. He detaileth the revelations for people who have knowledge.
[ SHAKIR ] He it is Who made the sun a shining brightness and the moon a light, and ordained for it mansions that you might know the computation of years and the reckoning. Allah did not create it but with truth; He makes the signs manifest for a people who
- Sura: 20 - Taa-haa (Taa-haa) Ayat: 50
قَالَ رَبُّنَا الَّذِي أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلْقَهُ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ (50
موسٰی نے کہا کہ ہمارا رب وہ ہے جس نے ہر شے کو اس کی مناسب خلقت عطا کی ہے اور پھر ہدایت بھی دی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance."
[ PICKTHAL ] He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright.
[ SHAKIR ] He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal).
- Sura: 37 - as-Saaffaat (Those drawn up in Ranks) From Ayat: 11 to 12
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمْ مَنْ خَلَقْنَا ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ لَازِبٍ (11
اب ذرا ان سے دریافت کرو کہ یہ زیادہ دشوار گزار مخلوق ہیں یا جن کو ہم پیدا کرچکے ہیں ہم نے ان سب کو ایک لسدار مٹی سے پیدا کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay!
[ PICKTHAL ] Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay.
[ SHAKIR ] Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay.
- Sura: 37 - as-Saaffaat (Those drawn up in Ranks) From Ayat: 11 to 12
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ (12
بلکہ تم تعجب کرتے ہو اور یہ مذاق اڑاتے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule,
[ PICKTHAL ] Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock
[ SHAKIR ] Nay! you wonder while they mock,
- Sura: 38 - Saad (The letter 'saad') Ayat: 27
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنَ النَّارِ (27
اور ہم نے آسمان اور زمین اور اس کے درمیان کی مخلوقات کو بیکار نہیں پیدا کیا ہے یہ تو صرف کافروں کا خیال ہے اور کافروں کے لئے جہّنم میں ویل کی منزل ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth and all between! that were the thought of Unbelievers! but woe to the Unbelievers because of the Fire (of Hell)!
[ PICKTHAL ] And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. And woe unto those who disbelieve, from the Fire!
[ SHAKIR ] And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain; that is the opinion of those who disbelieve then woe to those who disbelieve on account of the fire.
- Sura: 40 - al-Ghaafir (The Forgiver) Ayat: 57
لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ (57
بیشک زمین و آسمان کا پیدا کردینا لوگوں کے پیدا کردینے سے کہیں زیادہ بڑا کام ہے لیکن لوگوں کی اکثریت یہ بھی نہیں جانتی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not.
[ PICKTHAL ] Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most of mankind know not.
[ SHAKIR ] Certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the men, but most people do not know
- Sura: 41 - Fussilat (Explained in detail) Ayat: 39
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (39
اور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے یہ بھی ہے کہ تم زمین کو صاف اور مفِدہ دیکھ رہے ہو اور پھر جب ہم نے پانی برسا دیا تو زمین لہلہانے لگی اور اس میں نشوونما پیدا ہوگئی بیشک جس نے زمین کو زندہ کیا ہے وہی مفِدوں کا زندہ کرنے والا بھی ہے اور یقینا وہ ہر شے پر قادر ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And among His Signs in this: thou seest the earth barren and desolate; but when We send down rain to it, it is stirred to life and yields increase. Truly, He Who gives life to the (dead) earth can surely give life to (men) who are dead. For He has power over all things.
[ PICKTHAL ] And of His portents (is this): that thou seest the earth lowly, but when We send down water thereon it thrilleth and groweth. Lo! He Who quickeneth it is verily the Quickener of the Dead. Lo! He is Able to do all things.
[ SHAKIR ] And among His signs is this, that you see the earth still, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells: most surely He Who gives it life is the Giver of life to the dead; surely He has power over all things.
- Sura: 52 - at-Tur (The Mount) From Ayat: 35 to 36
أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُونَ (35
کیا یہ بغیر کسی چیز کے ازخود پیدا ہوگئے ہیں یا یہ خود ہی پیدا کرنے والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators?
[ PICKTHAL ] Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators?
[ SHAKIR ] Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators?
- Sura: 52 - at-Tur (The Mount) From Ayat: 35 to 36
أَمْ خَلَقُوا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۚ بَلْ لَا يُوقِنُونَ (36
یا انہوں نے آسمان و زمین کو پیدا کردیا ہے - حقیقت یہ ہے کہ یہ یقین کرنے والے نہیں ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief.
[ PICKTHAL ] Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing!
[ SHAKIR ] Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay! they have no certainty.
- Sura: 53 - an-Najm (The Star) Ayat: 39
وَأَنْ لَيْسَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ (39
اور انسان کے لئے صرف اتنا ہی ہے جتنی اس نے کوشش کی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] That man can have nothing but what he strives for;
[ PICKTHAL ] And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort,
[ SHAKIR ] And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for-
- Sura: 55 - ar-Rahman (The Beneficent) Ayat: 33
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ تَنْفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنْفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ (33
اے گروہ جن و انس اگر تم میں قدرت ہو کہ آسمان و زمین کے اطرف سے باہر نکل جاؤ تو نکل جاؤ مگر یاد رکھو کہ تم قوت اور غلبہ کے بغیر نہیں نکل سکتے ہو
[YOUSAF ALI] O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass!
[ PICKTHAL ] O company of jinn and men, if ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! Ye will never penetrate them save with (Our) sanction.
[ SHAKIR ] O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority.
- Sura: 64 - at-Taghaabun (Mutual Disillusion) Ayat: 3
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ (3
اسی نے آسمان و زمین کو حق کے ساتھ پیدا کیا ہے اور تمہاری صورت کو بھی انتہائی حسن بنایا ہے اور پھر اسی کی طرف سب کی بازگشت بھی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He has created the heavens and the earth in just proportions, and has given you shape, and made your shapes beautiful: and to Him is the final Goal.
[ PICKTHAL ] He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you and made good your shapes, and unto Him is the journeying.
[ SHAKIR ] He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and to Him is the ultimate resort.
- Sura: 67 - al-Mulk (The Sovereignty) From Ayat: 1 to 3
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (1
بابرکت ہے وہ ذات جس کے ہاتھوں میں سارا ملک ہے اور وہ ہر شے پر قادر و مختار ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He over all things hath Power;-
[ PICKTHAL ] Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things.
[ SHAKIR ] Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things,
- Sura: 67 - al-Mulk (The Sovereignty) From Ayat: 1 to 3
الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفُورُ (2
اس نے موت و حیات کو اس لئے پیدا کیا ہے تاکہ تمہاری آزمائش کرے کہ تم میں حَسن عمل کے اعتبار سے سب سے بہتر کون ہے اور وہ صاحب هعزّت بھی ہے اور بخشنے والا بھی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;-
[ PICKTHAL ] Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,
[ SHAKIR ] Who created death and life that He may try you-- which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,
- Sura: 67 - al-Mulk (The Sovereignty) From Ayat: 1 to 3
الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا ۖ مَا تَرَىٰ فِي خَلْقِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ مِنْ تَفَاوُتٍ ۖ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِنْ فُطُورٍ (3
اسی نے سات آسمان تہ بہ تہ پیدا کئے ہیں اور تم رحمان کی خلقت میں کسی طرح کا فرق نہ دیکھو گے پھر دوبارہ نگاہ اٹھا کر دیکھو کہیں کوئی شگاف نظر آتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw?
[ PICKTHAL ] Who hath created seven heavens in harmony. Thou (Muhammad) canst see no fault in the Beneficent One's creation; then look again: Canst thou see any rifts?
[ SHAKIR ] Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no incongruity in the creation of the Beneficent Allah; then look again, can you see any disorder?
- Sura: 89 - al-Fajr (The Dawn) From Ayat: 28 to 30
ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً (28
اپنے رب کی طرف پلٹ آ اس عالم میں کہ تواس سے راضی ہے اور وہ تجھ سے راضی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] "Come back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him!
[ PICKTHAL ] Return unto thy Lord, content in His good pleasure!
[ SHAKIR ] Return to your Lord, well-pleased (with him), well-pleasing (Him),
- Sura: 89 - al-Fajr (The Dawn) From Ayat: 28 to 30
فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي (29
پھر میرے بندوں میں شامل ہوجا
[YOUSAF ALI] "Enter thou, then, among My devotees!
[ PICKTHAL ] Enter thou among My bondmen!
[ SHAKIR ] So enter among My servants,
- Sura: 89 - al-Fajr (The Dawn) From Ayat: 28 to 30
وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي (30
اور میری جنت میں داخل ہوجا
[YOUSAF ALI] "Yea, enter thou My Heaven!
[ PICKTHAL ] Enter thou My Garden!
[ SHAKIR ] And enter into My garden.
- Sura: 96 - al-`Alaq (The Clot) From Ayat: 1 to 5
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ (1
اس خدا کا نام لے کر پڑھو جس نے پیدا کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
[ PICKTHAL ] Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth,
[ SHAKIR ] Read in the name of your Lord Who created.
- Sura: 96 - al-`Alaq (The Clot) From Ayat: 1 to 5
خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ (2
اس نے انسان کو جمے ہوئے خون سے پیدا کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
[ PICKTHAL ] Createth man from a clot.
[ SHAKIR ] He created man from a clot.

اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ (3
پڑھو اور تمہارا پروردگار بڑا کریم ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-
[ PICKTHAL ] Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous,
[ SHAKIR ] Read and your Lord is Most Honorable,
- Sura: 96 - al-`Alaq (The Clot) From Ayat: 1 to 5
الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ (4
جس نے قلم کے ذریعے تعلیم دی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He Who taught (the use of) the pen,-
[ PICKTHAL ] Who teacheth by the pen,
[ SHAKIR ] Who taught (to write) with the pen
- Sura: 96 - al-`Alaq (The Clot) From Ayat: 1 to 5
عَلَّمَ الْإِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ (5
اور انسان کو وہ سب کچھ بتادیا ہے جو اسے نہیں معلوم تھا
[YOUSAF ALI] Taught man that which he knew not.
[ PICKTHAL ] Teacheth man that which he knew not.
[ SHAKIR ] Taught man what he knew not.
