- Sura: 15 - al-Hijr (The Rock) Ayat: 28
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ مِنْ حَمَإٍ مَسْنُونٍ (28
اور اس وقت کو یاد کرو کہ جب تمہارے پروردگار نے ملائکہ سے کہا تھا کہ میں سیاہی مائل نرم کھنکھناتی ہوئی مٹی سے ایک بشر پیدا کرنے والا ہوں
[YOUSAF ALI] Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape;
[ PICKTHAL ] And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered,
[ SHAKIR ] And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.
- Sura: 23 - al-Mu'minoon (The Believers) From Ayat: 12 to 14
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ سُلَالَةٍ مِنْ طِينٍ (12
اور ہم نے انسان کو گیلی مٹی سے پیدا کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay);
[ PICKTHAL ] Verily We created man from a product of wet earth;
[ SHAKIR ] And certainly We created man of an extract of clay,
- Sura: 23 - al-Mu'minoon (The Believers) From Ayat: 12 to 14
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاهُ نُطْفَةً فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ (13
پھر اسے ایک محفوظ جگہ پر نطفہ بناکر رکھا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed;
[ PICKTHAL ] Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging;
[ SHAKIR ] Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place,
- Sura: 23 - al-Mu'minoon (The Believers) From Ayat: 12 to 14
ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظَامًا فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظَامَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ أَنْشَأْنَاهُ خَلْقًا آخَرَ ۚ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ (14
پھر نطفہ کوعلقہ بنایا ہے اور پھر علقہ سے مضغہ پیدا کیا ہے اور پھر مضغہ سے ہڈیاں پیدا کی ہیں اور پھر ہڈیوں پر گوشت چڑھایا ہے پھر ہم نے اسے ایک دوسری مخلوق بنادیا ہے تو کس قدر بابرکت ہے وہ خدا جو سب سے بہتر خلق کرنے والا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create!
[ PICKTHAL ] Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators!
[ SHAKIR ] Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators.
- Sura: 32 - as-Sajda (The Prostration) From Ayat: 7 to 9
الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنْسَانِ مِنْ طِينٍ (7
اس نے ہر چیز کو حسوُ کے ساتھ بنایا ہے اور انسان کی خلقت کا آغاز مٹی سے کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay,
[ PICKTHAL ] Who made all things good which He created, and He began the creation of man from clay;
[ SHAKIR ] Who made good everything that He has created, and He began the creation of man from dust.
- Sura: 32 - as-Sajda (The Prostration) From Ayat: 7 to 9
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُ مِنْ سُلَالَةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ (8
اس کے بعد اس کی نسل کو ایک ذلیل پانی سے قرار دیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised:
[ PICKTHAL ] Then He made his seed from a draught of despised fluid;
[ SHAKIR ] Then He made his progeny of an extract, of water held in light estimation.
- Sura: 32 - as-Sajda (The Prostration) From Ayat: 7 to 9
ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِهِ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ (9
"اس کے بعد اسے برابر کرکے اس میں اپنی روح پھونک دی ہے اور تمہارے لئے کان, آنکھ اور دل بنادیئے ہیں مگر تم بہت کم شکریہ ادا کرتے ہو"
[YOUSAF ALI] But He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His spirit. And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!
[ PICKTHAL ] Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit; and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts. Small thanks give ye!
[ SHAKIR ] Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks.
- Sura: 86 - at-Taariq (The Morning Star) From Ayat: 6 to 7
خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاءٍ دَافِقٍ (6
وہ ایک اُچھلتے ہوئے پانی سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He is created from a drop emitted-
[ PICKTHAL ] He is created from a gushing fluid
[ SHAKIR ] He is created of water pouring forth,
- Sura: 86 - at-Taariq (The Morning Star) From Ayat: 6 to 7
يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ (7
جو پیٹھ اور سینہ کی ہڈیوں کے درمیان سے نکلتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs:
[ PICKTHAL ] That issued from between the loins and ribs.
[ SHAKIR ] Coming from between the back and the ribs.
- Sura: 95 - at-Teen (The Fig) Ayat: 4
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ (4
ہم نے انسان کو بہترین ساخت میں پیدا کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,
[ PICKTHAL ] Surely We created man of the best stature
[ SHAKIR ] Certainly We created man in the best make.
