- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 198

تمہارے لئے کوئی حرج نہیں ہے کہ اپنے پروردگار کے فضل وکرم کو تلاش کرو پھر جب عرفات سے کوچ کرو تو مشعرالحرام کے پاس ذکر خدا کرو اور اس طرح ذکر کرو جس طرح اس نے ہدایت دی ہے اگرچہ تم لوگ اس کے پہلے گمراہوں میں سے تھے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray.
[ PICKTHAL ] It is no sin for you that ye seek the bounty of your Lord (by trading). But, when ye press on in the multitude from 'Arafat, remember Allah by the sacred monument. Remember Him as He hath guided you, although before ye were of those astray.
[ SHAKIR ] There is no blame on you in seeking bounty from your Lord, so when you hasten on from "Arafat", then remember Allah near the Holy Monument, and remember Him as He has guided you, though before that you were certainly of the erring ones.
- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 266

کیا تم میں سے کوئی یہ پسند کرتا ہے کہ اس کے پاس کھجور اور انگور کے باغ ہوں۔ ان کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں ان میں ہر طرح کے پھل ہوں- اور آدمی بوڑھا ہو جائے۔ اس کے کمزور بچے ہوں اور پھر اچانک تیز گرم ہوا جس میں آگ بھری ہو چل جائے اور سب جل کر خاک ہوجائے۔ خدا اسی طرح اپنی آیات کو واضح کر کے بیان کرتا ہے کہ شاید تم فکر کر سکو
[YOUSAF ALI] Does any of you wish that he should have a garden with date-palms and vines and streams flowing underneath, and all kinds of fruit, while he is stricken with old age, and his children are not strong (enough to look after themselves)- that it should be caught in a whirlwind, with fire therein, and be burnt up? Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His) Signs; that ye may consider.
[ PICKTHAL ] Would any of you like to have a garden of palm-trees and vines, with rivers flowing underneath it, with all kinds of fruit for him therein; and old age hath stricken him and he hath feeble offspring; and a fiery whirlwind striketh it and it is (all) consumed by fire. Thus Allah maketh plain His revelations unto you, in order that ye may give thought.
[ SHAKIR ] Does one of you like that he should have a garden of palms and vines with streams flowing beneath it; he has in it all kinds of fruits; and old age has overtaken him and he has weak offspring, when, (lo!) a whirlwind with fire in it smites it so it becomes blasted; thus Allah makes the communications clear to you, that you may reflect.
- Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) Ayat: 136
أُولَٰئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ (136
یہی وہ ہیں جن کی جزا مغفرت ہے اور وہ جنّت ہے جس کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں .وہ اسی میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں اور عمل کرنے کی یہ جزا بہترین جزا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!
[ PICKTHAL ] The reward of such will be forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever - a bountiful reward for workers!
[ SHAKIR ] (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers.
- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 6
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّنْ لَكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ (6
کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی نسلوں کو تباہ کردیا ہے جنہیں تم سے زیادہ زمین میں اقتدار دیا تھا اور ان پر موسلادھار پانی بھی برسایا تھا -ان کے قدموں میں نہریں بھی جاری تھیں پھر ان کے گناہوں کی بنا پر انہیں ہلاک کردیا اور ان کے بعد دوسری نسل جاری کردی
[YOUSAF ALI] See they not how many of those before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the earth, in strength such as We have not given to you - for whom We poured out rain from the skies in abundance, and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them, and raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them).
[ PICKTHAL ] See they not how many a generation We destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth more firmly than We have established you, and We shed on them abundant showers from the sky, and made the rivers flow beneath them. Yet we destroyed them for their sins, and created after them another generation.
[ SHAKIR ] Do they not consider how many a generation We have destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth as We have not established you, and We sent the clouds pouring rain on them in abundance, and We made the rivers to flow beneath them, then We destroyed them on account of their faults and raised up after them another generation.
- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 97
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ (97
وہی وہ ہے جس نے تمہارے لئے ستارے مقرر کئے ہیں کہ ان کے ذریعہ خشکی اور تری کی تاریکیوں میں راستہ معلوم کرسکو -ہم نے تمام نشانیوں کو اس قوم کے لئے تفصیل کے ساتھ بیان کیا ہے جو جاننے والی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is He Who maketh the stars (as beacons) for you, that ye may guide yourselves, with their help, through the dark spaces of land and sea: We detail Our signs for people who know.
[ PICKTHAL ] And He it is Who hath set for you the stars that ye may guide your course by them amid the darkness of the land and the sea. We have detailed Our revelations for a people who have knowledge.
[ SHAKIR ] And He it is Who has made the stars for you that you might follow the right way thereby in the darkness of the land and the sea; truly We have made plain the communications for a people who know.
- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 165
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ الْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ (165
وہی وہ خدا ہے جس نے تم کو زمین میں نائب بنایا اور بعض کے درجات کو بعض سے بلند کیا تاکہ تمہیں اپنے دئیے ہوئے سے آزمائے -تمہارا پروردگار بہت جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے اور وہ بیشک بہت بخشنے والا مہربان ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
[ PICKTHAL ] He it is Who hath placed you as viceroys of the earth and hath exalted some of you in rank above others, that He may try you by (the test of) that which He hath given you. Lo! Thy Lord is swift in prosecution, and Lo! He verily is Forgiving, Merciful.
[ SHAKIR ] And He it is Who has made you successors in the land and raised some of you above others by (various) grades, that He might try you by what He has given you; surely your Lord is quick to requite (evil), and He is most surely the Forgiving, the Merciful.
- Sura: 9 - at-Tawba (The Repentance) Ayat: 72
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ (72
اللہ نے مومن مرد اور مومن عورتوں سے ان باغات کا وعدہ کیا ہے جن کی نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی -یہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں -ان جنااُ عدن میں پاکیزہ مکانات ہیں اور اللہ کی مرضی تو سب سے بڑی چیز ہے اور یہی ایک عظیم کامیابی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Allah hath promised to Believers, men and women, gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme felicity.
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah promiseth to the believers, men and women, Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide - blessed dwellings in Gardens of Eden. And - greater (far)! - acceptance from Allah. That is the supreme triumph.
[ SHAKIR ] Allah has promised to the believing men and the believing women gardens, beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetual abode; and best of all is Allah's goodly pleasure; that is the grand achievement.
- Sura: 10 - Yunus (Jonas) Ayat: 22
هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِمْ بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا بِهَا جَاءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ ۙ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنْجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ (22
وہ خدا وہ ہے جو تمہیں خشکی اور سمندر میں سیر کراتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب تم کشتی میں تھے اور پاکیزہ ہوائیں چلیں اور سارے مسافر خوش ہوگئے تو اچانک ایک تیز ہوا چل گئی اور موجوں نے ہر طرف سے گھیرے میں لے لیا اور یہ خیال پیدا ہوگیا کہ چارں طرف سے کَھرگئے ہیں تو دین خالص کے ساتھ اللہ سے دعا کرنے لگے کہ اگر اس مصیبت سے نجات مل گئی تو ہم یقینا شکر گزاروں میں ہوجائیں گے
[YOUSAF ALI] He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships;- they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him saying, "If thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!"
[ PICKTHAL ] He it is Who maketh you to go on the land and the sea till, when ye are in the ships and they sail with them with a fair breeze and they are glad therein, a storm-wind reacheth them and the wave cometh unto them from every side and they deem that they are overwhelmed therein; (then) they cry unto Allah, making their faith pure for Him only: If Thou deliver us from this, we truly will be of the thankful.
[ SHAKIR ] He it is Who makes you travel by land and sea; until when you are in the ships, and they sail on with them in a pleasant breeze, and they rejoice, a violent wind overtakes them and the billows surge in on them from all sides, and they become certain that they are encompassed about, they pray to Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience: If Thou dost deliver us from this, we will most certainly be of the grateful ones.
- Sura: 14 - Ibrahim (Abraham) Ayat: 32
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقًا لَكُمْ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِيَ فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْأَنْهَارَ (32
اللہ ہی وہ ہے جس نے آسمان و زمین کو پیدا کیا ہے اور آسمان سے پانی برسا کر اس کے ذریعہ تمہاری روزی کے لئے پھل پیدا کئے ہیں اور کشتیوں کو مسخر کردیا ہے کہ سمندر میں اس کے حکم سے چلیں اور تمہارے لئے نہروں کو بھی مسخر کردیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you.
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth, and causeth water to descend from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you, and maketh the ships to be of service unto you, that they may run upon the sea at His command, and hath made of service unto you the rivers;
[ SHAKIR ] Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and sent down water from the clouds, then brought forth with it fruits as a sustenance for you, and He has made the ships subservient to you, that they might run their course in the sea by His command, and He has made the rivers subservient to you.
- Sura: 16 - an-Nahl (The Bee) Ayat: 14
وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ (14
اور وہی وہ ہے جس نے سمندروں کو مّسخردیا ہے تاکہ تم اس میں سے تازہ گوشت کھاسکو اور پہننے کے لئے زینت کا سامان نکال سکو اور تم تو دیکھ رہے ہو کہ کشتیاں کس طرح اس کے سینے کو چیرتی ہوئی چلی جارہی ہیں اور یہ سب اس لئے بھی ہے کہ تم اس کے فضل و کرم کو تلاش کرسکو اور شاید اسی طرح اس کے شکر گزار بندے بھی بن جاؤ
[YOUSAF ALI] It is He Who has made the sea subject, that ye may eat thereof flesh that is fresh and tender, and that ye may extract therefrom ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the bounty of Allah and that ye may be grateful.
[ PICKTHAL ] And He it is Who hath constrained the sea to be of service that ye eat fresh meat from thence, and bring forth from thence ornaments which ye wear. And thou seest the ships ploughing it that ye (mankind) may seek of His bounty and that haply ye may give thanks.
[ SHAKIR ] And He it is Who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks.
- Sura: 16 - an-Nahl (The Bee) Ayat: 15
وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ (15
اور اس نے زمین میں پہاڑوں کے لنگر ڈال دئے تاکہ تمہیں لے کر اپنی جگہ سے ہٹ نہ جائے اور نہریں اور راستے بنادئے تاکہ منزل سفر میں ہدایت پاسکو
[YOUSAF ALI] And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves;
[ PICKTHAL ] And He hath cast into the earth firm hills that it quake not with you, and streams and roads that ye may find a way.
[ SHAKIR ] And He has cast great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with you, and rivers and roads that you may go aright,
- Sura: 17 - al-Israa' (The Night Journey) Ayat: 12
وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ آيَتَيْنِ ۖ فَمَحَوْنَا آيَةَ اللَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَا آيَةَ النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِتَبْتَغُوا فَضْلًا مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ تَفْصِيلًا (12
اور ہم نے رات اور دن کو اپنی نشانی قرار دیا ہے پھر ہم رات کی نشانی کو مٹا دیتے ہیں اور دن کی نشانی کو روشن کردیتے ہیں تاکہ تم اپنے پروردگار کے فضل و انعام کو طلب کرسکو اور سال اور حساب کے اعداد معلوم کرسکو اور ہم نے ہر شے کو تفصیل کے ساتھ بیان کردیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] We have made the Night and the Day as two (of Our) Signs: the Sign of the Night have We obscured, while the Sign of the Day We have made to enlighten you; that ye may seek bounty from your Lord, and that ye may know the number and count of the years: all things have We explained in detail.
[ PICKTHAL ] And We appoint the night and the day two portents. Then We make dark the portent of the night, and We make the portent of the day sight-giving, that ye may seek bounty from your Lord, and that ye may know the computation of the years, and the reckoning; and everything have We expounded with a clear expounding.
[ SHAKIR ] And We have made the night and the day two signs, then We have made the sign of the night to pass away and We have made the sign of the day manifest, so that you may seek grace from your Lord, and that you might know the numbering of years and the reckoning; and We have explained everything with distinctness.
- Sura: 17 - al-Israa' (The Night Journey) Ayat: 66
رَبُّكُمُ الَّذِي يُزْجِي لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ فِي الْبَحْرِ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا (66
اور آپ کا پروردگار ہی وہ ہے جو تم لوگوں کے لئے سمندر میں کشتیاں چلاتا ہے تاکہ تم اس کے فضل و کرم کو تلاش کرسکو کہ وہ تمہارے حال پر بڑا مہربان ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Your Lord is He That maketh the Ship go smoothly for you through the sea, in order that ye may seek of his Bounty. For he is unto you most Merciful.
[ PICKTHAL ] (O mankind), your Lord is He Who driveth for you the ship upon the sea that ye may seek of His bounty. Lo! He was ever Merciful toward you.
[ SHAKIR ] Your Lord is He Who speeds the ships for you in the sea that you may seek of His grace; surely He is ever Merciful to you.
- Sura: 18 - al-Kahf (The Cave) Ayat: 31
أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَيَلْبَسُونَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًا مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ ۚ نِعْمَ الثَّوَابُ وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا (31
ان کے لئے وہ دائمی جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی انہیں سونے کے کنگنپہنائے جائیں گے اور یہ باریک اور دبیز ریشم کے سبز لباس میں ملبوس اور تختوں پر تکیے لگائے بیٹھے ہوں گے یہی ان کے لئے بہترین ثواب اورحسین ترین منزل ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade: They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on!
[ PICKTHAL ] As for such, theirs will be Gardens of Eden, wherein rivers flow beneath them; therein they will be given armlets of gold and will wear green robes of finest silk and gold embroidery, reclining upon throne therein. Blest the reward, and fair the resting-place!
[ SHAKIR ] These it is for whom are gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, ornaments shall be given to them therein of bracelets of gold, and they shall wear green robes of fine silk and thick silk brocade interwoven with gold, reclining therein on raised couches; excellent the recompense and goodly the resting place.
- Sura: 20 - Taa-haa (Taa-haa) Ayat: 53
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا وَأَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِنْ نَبَاتٍ شَتَّىٰ (53
اس نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو گہوارہ بنایا ہے اور اس میں تمہارے لئے راستے بنائے ہیں اور آسمان سے پانی برسایا ہے جس کے ذریعہ ہم نے مختلف قسم کے نباتات کا جوڑا پیدا کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others.
[ PICKTHAL ] Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation,
[ SHAKIR ] Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs.
- Sura: 22 - al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage) Ayat: 14
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ (14
بیشک اللہ ایمان والوں اور نیک عمل کرنے والوں کو ان جنتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی کہ اللہ جو چاہتا ہے انجام دیتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Verily Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens, beneath which rivers flow: for Allah carries out all that He plans.
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! Allah causeth those who believe and do good works to enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Lo! Allah doth what He intendeth.
[ SHAKIR ] Surely Allah will cause those who believe and do good deeds to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, surely Allah does what He pleases.
- Sura: 22 - al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage) Ayat: 65
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَيُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءَ أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ (65
کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ نے تمہارے لئے زمین کی تمام چیزوں کو لَسّخر کردیا ہے اور کشتیاں بھی دریا میں اسی کے حکم سے چلتی ہیں اور وہی آسمانوں کو روکے ہوئے ہے کہ اس کی اجازت کے بغیر زمین پر نہیں گر سکتا ہے-اللہ اپنے بندوں پر بڑا شفیق اور مہربان ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Seest thou not that Allah has made subject to you (men) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the sky (rain) from failing on the earth except by His leave: for Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man.
[ PICKTHAL ] Hast thou not seen how Allah hath made all that is in the earth subservient unto you? And the ship runneth upon the sea by His command, and He holdeth back the heaven from falling on the earth unless by His leave. Lo! Allah is, for mankind, Full of Pity, Merciful.
[ SHAKIR ] Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command? And He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His permission; most surely Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to men.
- Sura: 29 - al-`Ankaboot (The Spider) Ayat: 20
قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ بَدَأَ الْخَلْقَ ۚ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنْشِئُ النَّشْأَةَ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (20
آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ تم لوگ زمین میں سیر کرو اور دیکھو کہ خدا نے کس طرح خلقت کا آغاز کیا ہے اس کے بعد وہی آخرت میں دوبارہ ایجاد کرے گا بیشک وہی ہر شے پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Say: "Travel through the earth and see how Allah did originate creation; so will Allah produce a later creation: for Allah has power over all things.
[ PICKTHAL ] Say (O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see how He originated creation, then Allah bringeth forth the later growth. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things.
[ SHAKIR ] Say: Travel in the earth and see how He makes the first creation, then Allah creates the latter creation; surely Allah has power over all things.
- Sura: 30 - ar-Room (The Romans) Ayat: 46
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ يُرْسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَاتٍ وَلِيُذِيقَكُمْ مِنْ رَحْمَتِهِ وَلِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ (46
اور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک یہ بھی ہے کہ وہ ہواؤں کو خوش خبری دینے والا بناکر بھیجتا ہے اور اس لئے بھی کہ تمہیں اپنی رحمت کا مزہ چکھائے اور اس کے حکم سے کشتیاں چلیں اور تم اپنا رزق حاصل کرسکو اور شاید اس طرح شکر گزار بھی بن جاؤ
[YOUSAF ALI] Among His Signs is this, that He sends the Winds, as heralds of Glad Tidings, giving you a taste of His (Grace and) Mercy,- that the ships may sail (majestically) by His Command and that ye may seek of His Bounty: in order that ye may be grateful.
[ PICKTHAL ] And of His signs is this: He sendeth herald winds to make you taste His mercy, and that the ships may sail at His command, and that ye may seek his favour, and that haply ye may be thankful.
[ SHAKIR ] And one of His signs is that He sends forth the winds bearing good news, and that He may make your taste of His mercy, and that the ships may run by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may be grateful.
- Sura: 31 - Luqman (Luqman) Ayat: 20
أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَهُ ظَاهِرَةً وَبَاطِنَةً ۗ وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَابٍ مُنِيرٍ (20
کیا تم لوگوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ نے زمین و آسمان کی تمام چیزوں کو تمہارے لئے لَسخّر کردیا ہے اور تمہارے لئے تمام ظاہری اور باطنی نعمتوں کو مکمل کردیا ہے اور لوگوں میں بعض ایسے بھی ہیں جو علم و ہدایت اور روشن کتاب کے بغیر بھی خدا کے بارے میں بحث کرتے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Do ye not see that Allah has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made his bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about Allah, without knowledge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them!
[ PICKTHAL ] See ye not how Allah hath made serviceable unto you whatsoever is in the skies and whatsoever is in the earth and hath loaded you with His favours both without and within? Yet of mankind is he who disputeth concerning Allah, without knowledge or guidance or a scripture giving light.
[ SHAKIR ] Do you not see that Allah has made what is in the heavens and what is in the earth subservient to you, and made complete to you His favors outwardly and inwardly? And among men is he who disputes in respect of Allah though having no knowledge nor guidance, nor a book giving light.
- Sura: 31 - Luqman (Luqman) Ayat: 20

کیا تم لوگوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ نے زمین و آسمان کی تمام چیزوں کو تمہارے لئے لَسخّر کردیا ہے اور تمہارے لئے تمام ظاہری اور باطنی نعمتوں کو مکمل کردیا ہے اور لوگوں میں بعض ایسے بھی ہیں جو علم و ہدایت اور روشن کتاب کے بغیر بھی خدا کے بارے میں بحث کرتے ہیں

- Sura: 34 - Saba (Sheba) Ayat: 12

اور ہم نے سلیمان علیہ السّلام کے ساتھ ہواؤں کو مسخر کردیا کہ ان کی صبح کی رفتار ایک ماہ کی مسافت تھی اور شام کی رفتار بھی ایک ماہ کے برابر تھی اور ہم نے ان کے لئے تانبے کا چشمہ جاری کردیا اور جنّات میں ایسے افراد بنا دیئے جو خدا کی اجازت سے ان کے سامنے کام کرتے تھے اور جس نے ہمارے حکم سے انحراف کیا ہم اسے آتشِ جہّنم کا مزہ چکھائیں گے
[YOUSAF ALI] And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.
[ PICKTHAL ] And unto Solomon (We gave) the wind, whereof the morning course was a month's journey and the evening course a month's journey, and We caused the fount of copper to gush forth for him, and (We gave him) certain of the jinn who worked before him by permission of his Lord. And such of them as deviated from Our command, them We caused to taste the punishment of flaming Fire.
[ SHAKIR ] And (We made) the wind (subservient) to Sulaiman, which made a month's journey in the morning and a month's journey m the evening, and We made a fountain of molten copper to flow out for him, and of the jinn there were those who worked before him by the command of his Lord; and whoever turned aside from Our command from among them, We made him taste of the punishment of burning.
- Sura: 35 - Faatir (The Originator) Ayat: 39
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا (39
وہی وہ خدا ہے جس نے تم کو زمین میں اگلوں کا جانشین بنایا ہے اب جو کفر کرے گا وہ اپنے کفر کا ذمہ دار ہوگا اور کفر پروردگار کی نظر میں کافروں کے لئے سوائے غضب الہٰی اور خسارہ کے کسی شے میں اضافہ نہیں کرسکتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He it is That has made you inheritors in the earth: if, then, any do reject (Allah), their rejection (works) against themselves: their rejection but adds to the odium for the Unbelievers in the sight of their Lord: their rejection but adds to (their own) undoing.
[ PICKTHAL ] He it is Who hath made you regents in the earth; so he who disbelieveth, his disbelief be on his own head. Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers, in their Lord's sight, naught save abhorrence. Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers naught save loss.
[ SHAKIR ] He it is Who made you rulers in the land; therefore whoever disbelieves, his unbelief is against himself; and their unbelief does not increase the disbelievers with their Lord in anything except hatred; and their unbelief does not increase the disbelievers m anything except loss.
- Sura: 43 - az-Zukhruf (Ornaments of gold) Ayat: 10
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ (10
وہ ہی جس نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو گہوارہ بنایا ہے اور اس میں راستے قرار دیئے ہیں تاکہ تم راہ معلوم کرسکو
[YOUSAF ALI] (Yea, the same that) has made for you the earth (like a carpet) spread out, and has made for you roads (and channels) therein, in order that ye may find guidance (on the way);
[ PICKTHAL ] Who made the earth a resting-place for you, and placed roads for you therein, that haply ye may find your way;
[ SHAKIR ] He Who made the earth a resting-place for you, and made in it ways for you that you may go aright;
- Sura: 43 - az-Zukhruf (Ornaments of gold) Ayat: 51
وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَٰذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِي ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ (51
اور فرعون نے اپنی قوم سے پکار کر کہا اے قوم کیا یہ ملک مصر میرا نہیں ہے اور کیا یہ نہریں جو میرے قدموں کے نیچے جاری ہیں یہ سب میری نہیں ہیں پھر تمہیں کیوں نظر نہیں آرہا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not the dominion of Egypt belong to me, (witness) these streams flowing underneath my (palace)? What! see ye not then?
[ PICKTHAL ] And Pharaoh caused a proclamation to be made among his people saying: O my people! Is not mine the sovereignty of Egypt and these rivers flowing under me? Can ye not then discern?
[ SHAKIR ] And Firon proclaimed amongst his people: O my people! is not the kingdom of Egypt mine? And these rivers flow beneath me; do you not then see?
- Sura: 45 - al-Jaathiya (Crouching) Ayat: 12
۞ اللَّهُ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ (12
اللہ ہی نے تمہارے لئے دریا کو لَسخّر کیا ہے کہ اس کے حکم سے کشتیاں چل سکیں اور تم اس کے فضل و کرم کو تلاش کرسکو اور شاید اس کا شکریہ بھی ادا کرسکو
[YOUSAF ALI] It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, that ships may sail through it by His command, that ye may seek of his Bounty, and that ye may be grateful.
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah it is Who hath made the sea of service unto you that the ships may run thereon by His command, and that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may be thankful;
[ SHAKIR ] Allah is He Who made subservient to you the sea that the ships may run therein by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks.
- Sura: 45 - al-Jaathiya (Crouching) Ayat: 13
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مِنْهُ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ (13
اور اسی نے تمہارے لئے زمین و آسمان کی تمام چیزوں کو لَسّخر کردیا ہے بیشمَ اس میں غور و فکر کرنے والی قوم کے لئے نشانیاں پائی جاتی ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] And He has subjected to you, as from Him, all that is in the heavens and on earth: Behold, in that are Signs indeed for those who reflect.
[ PICKTHAL ] And hath made of service unto you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; it is all from Him. Lo! herein verily are portents for a people who reflect.
[ SHAKIR ] And He has made subservient to you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, all, from Himself; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.
- Sura: 62 - al-Jumu`a (Friday) Ayat: 10
فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ (10
پھر جب نماز تمام ہوجائے تو زمین میں منتشر ہوجاؤ اور فضل خدا کو تلاش کرو اور خدا کو بہت یاد کرو کہ شاید اسی طرح تمہیں نجات حاصل ہوجائے
[YOUSAF ALI] And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah: and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that ye may prosper.
[ PICKTHAL ] And when the prayer is ended, then disperse in the land and seek of Allah's bounty, and remember Allah much, that ye may be successful.
[ SHAKIR ] But when the prayer is ended, then disperse abroad in the land and seek of Allah's grace, and remember Allah much, that you may be successful.
- Sura: 67 - al-Mulk (The Sovereignty) Ayat: 15
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَامْشُوا فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِهِ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ (15
اسی نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو نرم بنادیا ہے کہ اس کے اطراف میں چلو اور رزق خدا تلاش کرو پھر اسی کی طرف قبروں سے اٹھ کر جانا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection.
[ PICKTHAL ] He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead).
[ SHAKIR ] He it is Who made the earth smooth for you, therefore go about in the spacious sides thereof, and eat of His sustenance, and to Him is the return after death.
- Sura: 71 - Nooh (Nooh) From Ayat: 11 to 12
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا (11
وہ تم پر موسلا دھار پانی برسائے گا
[YOUSAF ALI] "'He will send rain to you in abundance;
[ PICKTHAL ] He will let loose the sky for you in plenteous rain,
[ SHAKIR ] He will send down upon you the cloud, pouring down abundance of rain:
- Sura: 71 - Nooh (Nooh) From Ayat: 11 to 12
وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْهَارًا (12
اور اموال و اولاد کے ذریعہ تمہاری مدد کرے گا اور تمہارے لئے باغات اور نہریں قرار دے گا
[YOUSAF ALI] "'Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water).
[ PICKTHAL ] And will help you with wealth and sons, and will assign unto you Gardens and will assign unto you rivers.
[ SHAKIR ] And help you with wealth and sons, and make for you gardens, and make for you rivers.
- Sura: 71 - Nooh (Nooh) From Ayat: 19 to 20
وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا (19
اور اللہ ہی نے تمہارے لئے زمین کو فرش بنادیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] "'And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out),
[ PICKTHAL ] And Allah hath made the earth a wide expanse for you
[ SHAKIR ] And Allah has made for you the earth a wide expanse,
- Sura: 71 - Nooh (Nooh) From Ayat: 19 to 20
لِتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا (20
تاکہ تم اس میں مختلف کشادہ راستوں پر چلو
[YOUSAF ALI] "'That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.'"
[ PICKTHAL ] That ye may thread the valley-ways thereof.
[ SHAKIR ] That you may go along therein in wide paths.
