- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 27

جو خدا کے ساتھ مضبوط عہد کرنے کے بعد بھی اسے توڑ دیتے ہیں اور جسے خدا نے جوڑنے کا حکم دیا ہے اسے کاٹ دیتے ہیں اور زمین میں فساد برپا کرتے ہیں یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو حقیقتاََ خسارہ والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves.
[ PICKTHAL ] Those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah ordered to be joined, and (who) make mischief in the earth: Those are they who are the losers.
[ SHAKIR ] Who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder what Allah has ordered to be joined, and make mischief in the land; these it is that are the losers.
- Sura: 4 - an-Nisaa' (The Women) Ayat: 58
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْأَمَانَاتِ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمْتُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ أَنْ تَحْكُمُوا بِالْعَدْلِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُمْ بِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا (58
بیشک اللہ تمہیں حکم دیتا ہے کہ امانتوں کو ان کے اہل تک پہنچا دو اور جب کوئی فیصلہ کرو تو انصاف کے ساتھ کرو اللہ تمہیں بہترین نصیحت کرتا ہے بیشک اللہ سمیع بھی ہے اور بصیر بھی
[YOUSAF ALI] Allah doth command you to render back your Trusts to those to whom they are due; And when ye judge between man and man, that ye judge with justice: Verily how excellent is the teaching which He giveth you! For Allah is He Who heareth and seeth all things.
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! Allah commandeth you that ye restore deposits to their owners, and, if ye judge between mankind, that ye judge justly. Lo! comely is this which Allah admonisheth you. Lo! Allah is ever Hearer, Seer.
[ SHAKIR ] Surely Allah commands you to make over trusts to their owners and that when you judge between people you judge with justice; surely Allah admonishes you with what is excellent; surely Allah is Seeing, Hearing.
- Sura: 5 - al-Maaida (The Table) Ayat: 1

ایمان والو اپنے عہد و پیمان اور معاملات کی پابندی کرو تمہارے لئے تمام چوپائے حلال کردیئے گئے ہیں علاوہ ان کے جوتمہیں پڑھ کر سنائے جارہے ہیں. مگر حالتِ احرام میں شکار کو حلال مت سمجھ لینا بے شک اللہ جو چاہتا حکم دیتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] O ye who believe! fulfil (all) obligations. Lawful unto you (for food) are all four-footed animals, with the exceptions named: But animals of the chase are forbidden while ye are in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb: for Allah doth command according to His will and plan.
[ PICKTHAL ] O ye who believe! Fulfil your indentures. The beast of cattle is made lawful unto you (for food) except that which is announced unto you (herein), game being unlawful when ye are on the pilgrimage. Lo! Allah ordaineth that which pleaseth Him.
[ SHAKIR ] O you who believe! fulfill the obligations. The cattle quadrupeds are allowed to you except that which is recited to you, not violating the prohibition against game when you are entering upon the performance of the pilgrimage; surely Allah orders what He desires.
- Sura: 13 - ar-Ra`ad (The Thunder) Ayat: 25
وَالَّذِينَ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ (25
اور جو لوگ عہدُ خدا کو توڑ دیتے ہیں اور جن سے تعلقات کا حکم دیا گیا ہے اان سے قطع تعلقات کرلیتے ہیں اور زمین میں فساد برپا کرتے ہیں ان کے لئے لعنت اور بدترین گھر ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home!
[ PICKTHAL ] And those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah hath commanded should be joined, and make mischief in the earth: theirs is the curse and theirs the ill abode.
[ SHAKIR ] And those who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder that which Allah has ordered to be joined and make mischief in the land; (as for) those, upon them shall be curse and they shall have the evil (issue) of the abode.
- Sura: 23 - al-Mu'minoon (The Believers) Ayat: 8
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ (8
اور جو مومنین اپنی امانتوں اور اپنے وعدوں کا لحاظ رکھنے والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants;
[ PICKTHAL ] And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant,
[ SHAKIR ] And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant,
- Sura: 70 - al-Ma`aarij (The Ascending Stairways) Ayat: 32
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ (32
اور جو اپنی امانتوں اور عہد کا خیال رکھنے والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] And those who respect their trusts and covenants;
[ PICKTHAL ] And those who keep their pledges and their covenant,
[ SHAKIR ] And those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant
