- Sura: 70 - al-Ma`aarij (The Ascending Stairways) From Ayat: 23 to 25
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ (23
جو اپنی نمازوں کی پابندی کرنے والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Those who remain steadfast to their prayer;
[ PICKTHAL ] Who are constant at their worship
[ SHAKIR ] Those who are constant at their prayer
- Sura: 70 - al-Ma`aarij (The Ascending Stairways) From Ayat: 23 to 25
وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌ (24
اور جن کے اموال میں ایک مقررہ حق معین ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And those in whose wealth is a recognised right.
[ PICKTHAL ] And in whose wealth there is a right acknowledged
[ SHAKIR ] And those in whose wealth there is a fixed portion.

لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ (25
مانگنے والے کے لئے اور نہ مانگنے والے کے لئے
[YOUSAF ALI] For the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking);
[ PICKTHAL ] For the beggar and the destitute;
[ SHAKIR ] For him who begs and for him who is denied (good)
- Sura: 74 - al-Muddaththir (The Cloaked One) From Ayat: 3 to 7
وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ (3
اور اپنے رب کی بزرگی کا اعلان کرو
[YOUSAF ALI] And thy Lord do thou magnify!
[ PICKTHAL ] Thy Lord magnify,
[ SHAKIR ] And your Lord do magnify,
- Sura: 74 - al-Muddaththir (The Cloaked One) From Ayat: 3 to 7
وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ (4
اور اپنے لباس کو پاکیزہ رکھو
[YOUSAF ALI] And thy garments keep free from stain!
[ PICKTHAL ] Thy raiment purify,
[ SHAKIR ] And your garments do purify,
- Sura: 74 - al-Muddaththir (The Cloaked One) From Ayat: 3 to 7
وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ (5
اور برائیوں سے پرہیز کرو
[YOUSAF ALI] And all abomination shun!
[ PICKTHAL ] Pollution shun!
[ SHAKIR ] And uncleanness do shun,
- Sura: 74 - al-Muddaththir (The Cloaked One) From Ayat: 3 to 7
وَلَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُ (6
اور اس طرح احسان نہ کرو کہ زیادہ کے طلب گار بن جاؤ
[YOUSAF ALI] Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)!
[ PICKTHAL ] And show not favour, seeking wordly gain!
[ SHAKIR ] And bestow not favors that you may receive again with increase,
- Sura: 74 - al-Muddaththir (The Cloaked One) From Ayat: 3 to 7
وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ (7
اور اپنے رب کی خاطر صبر کرو
[YOUSAF ALI] But, for thy Lord's (Cause), be patient and constant!
[ PICKTHAL ] For the sake of thy Lord, be patient!
[ SHAKIR ] And for the sake of your Lord, be patient.
- Sura: 83 - al-Mutaffifin (Defrauding) From Ayat: 15 to 20
كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَمَحْجُوبُونَ (15
یاد رکھو انہیں روز قیامت پروردگار کی رحمت سے محجوب کردیا جائے گا
[YOUSAF ALI] Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled.
[ PICKTHAL ] Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord.
[ SHAKIR ] Nay! most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord.
- Sura: 83 - al-Mutaffifin (Defrauding) From Ayat: 15 to 20
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ (16
پھر اس کے بعد یہ جہنمّ میں جھونکے جانے والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell.
[ PICKTHAL ] Then lo! they verily will burn in hell,
[ SHAKIR ] Then most surely they shall enter the burning fire.
- Sura: 83 - al-Mutaffifin (Defrauding) From Ayat: 15 to 20
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ (17
پھر ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ یہی وہ ہے جس کا تم انکار رہے تھے
[YOUSAF ALI] Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false!
[ PICKTHAL ] And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny.
[ SHAKIR ] Then shall it be said: This is what you gave the lie to.
- Sura: 83 - al-Mutaffifin (Defrauding) From Ayat: 15 to 20
كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ (18
یاد رکھو کہ نیک کردار افراد کا نامہ اعمال علیین میں ہوگا
[YOUSAF ALI] Day, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin.
[ PICKTHAL ] Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin -
[ SHAKIR ] Nay! Most surely the record of the righteous shall be in the Iliyin.
- Sura: 83 - al-Mutaffifin (Defrauding) From Ayat: 15 to 20
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ (19
اور تم کیا جانو کہ علیین کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is?
[ PICKTHAL ] Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! -
[ SHAKIR ] And what will make you know what the highest Iliyin is?
- Sura: 83 - al-Mutaffifin (Defrauding) From Ayat: 15 to 20
كِتَابٌ مَرْقُومٌ (20
ایک لکھا ہوا دفتر ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed,
[ PICKTHAL ] A written record,
[ SHAKIR ] It is a written book,
