- Sura: 76 - al-Insaan (Man) From Ayat: 2 to 3
إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا (2
یقینا ہم نے انسان کو ایک ملے جلے نطفہ سے پیدا کیا ہے تاکہ اس کا امتحان لیں اور پھر اسے سماعت اور بصارت والا بنادیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight.
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! We create man from a drop of thickened fluid to test him; so We make him hearing, knowing.
[ SHAKIR ] Surely We have created man from a small life-germ uniting (itself): We mean to try him, so We have made him hearing, seeing.
- Sura: 76 - al-Insaan (Man) From Ayat: 2 to 3
إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا (3
یقینا ہم نے اسے راستہ کی ہدایت دے دی ہے چاہے وہ شکر گزار ہوجائے یا کفران نعمت کرنے والا ہوجائے
[YOUSAF ALI] We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will).
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving.
[ SHAKIR ] Surely We have shown him the way: he may be thankful or unthankful.
- Sura: 90 - al-Balad (The City) From Ayat: 8 to 10
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلْ لَهُ عَيْنَيْنِ (8
کیا ہم نے اس کے لئے دو آنکھیں نہیں قرار دی ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?-
[ PICKTHAL ] Did We not assign unto him two eyes
[ SHAKIR ] Have We not given him two eyes,
- Sura: 90 - al-Balad (The City) From Ayat: 8 to 10
وَلِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ (9
اور زبان اور دو ہونٹ بھی
[YOUSAF ALI] And a tongue, and a pair of lips?-
[ PICKTHAL ] And a tongue and two lips,
[ SHAKIR ] And a tongue and two lips,
- Sura: 90 - al-Balad (The City) From Ayat: 8 to 10
وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ (10
اور ہم نے اسے دونوں راستوں کی ہدایت دی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And shown him the two highways?
[ PICKTHAL ] And guide him to the parting of the mountain ways?
[ SHAKIR ] And pointed out to him the two conspicuous ways?
- Sura: 91 - ash-Shams (The Sun) From Ayat: 7 to 10
وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا (7
اور نفس کی قسم اور جس نے اسے درست کیاہے
[YOUSAF ALI] By the Soul, and the proportion and order given to it;
[ PICKTHAL ] And a soul and Him Who perfected it
[ SHAKIR ] And the soul and Him Who made it perfect,
- Sura: 91 - ash-Shams (The Sun) From Ayat: 7 to 10
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا (8
پھر بدی اور تقویٰ کی ہدایت دی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right;-
[ PICKTHAL ] And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it.
[ SHAKIR ] Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it;
- Sura: 91 - ash-Shams (The Sun) From Ayat: 7 to 10
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا (9
بے شک وہ کامیاب ہوگیا جس نے نفس کو پاکیزہ بنالیا
[YOUSAF ALI] Truly he succeeds that purifies it,
[ PICKTHAL ] He is indeed successful who causeth it to grow,
[ SHAKIR ] He will indeed be successful who purifies it,
- Sura: 91 - ash-Shams (The Sun) From Ayat: 7 to 10
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا (10
اور وہ نامراد ہوگیا جس نے اسے آلودہ کردیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And he fails that corrupts it!
[ PICKTHAL ] And he is indeed a failure who stunteth it.
[ SHAKIR ] And he will indeed fail who corrupts it.
- Sura: 95 - at-Teen (The Fig) From Ayat: 4 to 6
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ (4
ہم نے انسان کو بہترین ساخت میں پیدا کیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,
[ PICKTHAL ] Surely We created man of the best stature
[ SHAKIR ] Certainly We created man in the best make.
- Sura: 95 - at-Teen (The Fig) From Ayat: 4 to 6
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ (5
پھر ہم نے اس کو پست ترین حالت کی طرف پلٹا دیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-
[ PICKTHAL ] Then we reduced him to the lowest of the low,
[ SHAKIR ] Then We render him the lowest of the low.
- Sura: 95 - at-Teen (The Fig) From Ayat: 4 to 6
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ (6
علاوہ ان لوگوں کے جو ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال انجام دیئے تو ان کے لئے نہ ختم ہونے والا اجر ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.
[ PICKTHAL ] Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing.
[ SHAKIR ] Except those who believe and do good, so they shall have a reward never to be cut off.
