- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 112
بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ (112
نہیں جو شخص اپنا رخ خدا کی طرف کردے گا اور نیک عمل کرے گا اس کے لئے پروردگار کے یہاں اجر ہے اور نہ کوئی خوف ہے نہ حزن
[YOUSAF ALI] Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
[ PICKTHAL ] Nay, but whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, his reward is with his Lord; and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.
[ SHAKIR ] Yes! whoever submits himself entirely to Allah and he is the doer of good (to others) he has his reward from his Lord, and there is no fear for him nor shall he grieve.
- Sura: 7 - al-A`araaf (The Heights) Ayat: 96
وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرَىٰ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَكَاتٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنْ كَذَّبُوا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ (96
اور اگر اہل قریہ ایمان لے آتے اور تقوٰی اختیار کرلیتے تو ہم ان کے لئے زمین اور آسمان سے برکتوں کے دروازے کھول دیتے لیکن انہوں نے تکذیب کی تو ہم نے ان کو ان کے اعمال کی گرفت میں لے لیا
[YOUSAF ALI] If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.
[ PICKTHAL ] And if the people of the townships had believed and kept from evil, surely We should have opened for them blessings from the sky and from the earth. But (unto every messenger) they gave the lie, and so We seized them on account of what they used to earn.
[ SHAKIR ] And if the people of the towns had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they rejected, so We overtook them for what they had earned.
- Sura: 16 - an-Nahl (The Bee) Ayat: 97
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ (97
جو شخص بھی نیک عمل کرے گا وہ مرد ہو یا عورت بشرطیکہ صاحب هایمان ہو ہم اسے پاکیزہ حیات عطا کریں گے اور انہیں ان اعمال سے بہتر جزا دیں گے جو وہ زندگی میں انجام دے رہے تھے
[YOUSAF ALI] Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.
[ PICKTHAL ] Whosoever doeth right, whether male or female, and is a believer, him verily we shall quicken with good life, and We shall pay them a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do.
[ SHAKIR ] Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a happy life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did.
- Sura: 21 - al-Anbiyaa (The Prophets) Ayat: 105
وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِي الزَّبُورِ مِنْ بَعْدِ الذِّكْرِ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحُونَ (105
اور ہم نے ذکر کے بعد زبور میں بھی لکھ دیا ہے کہ ہماری زمین کے وارث ہمارے نیک بندے ہی ہوں گے
[YOUSAF ALI] Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth."
[ PICKTHAL ] And verily we have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth:
[ SHAKIR ] And certainly We wrote in the Book after the reminder that (as for) the land, My righteous servants shall inherit it.
- Sura: 24 - an-Noor (The Light) Ayat: 55
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ (55
اللرُ نے تم میں سے صاحبان هایمان و عمل صالح سے وعدہ کیا ہے کہ انہیں روئے زمین میں اسی طرح اپنا خلیفہ بنائے گا جس طرح پہلے والوں کو بنایا ہے اور ان کے لئے اس دین کو غالب بنائے گا جسے ان کے لئے پسندیدہ قرار دیا ہے اور ان کے خوف کو امن سے تبدیل کردے گا کہ وہ سب صرف میری عبادت کریں گے اور کسی طرح کا شرک نہ کریں گے اور اس کے بعد بھی کوئی کافر ہوجائے تو درحقیقت وہی لوگ فاسق اور بدکردار ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed (the present rulers) in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed (others); and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants.
[ SHAKIR ] Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, and that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me; and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the. transgressors.
