Sura: 28 - al-Qasas (The Stories) Ayat: 15 وَدَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَٰذَا مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ وَهَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ ۖ فَاسْتَغَاثَهُ الَّذِي مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ عَلَى الَّذِي مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ فَوَكَزَهُ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَدُوٌّ مُضِلٌّ مُبِينٌ (15
اور موسٰی شہر میں اس وقت داخل ہوئے جب لوگ غفلت کی نیند میں تھے تو انہوں نے دو آدمیوں کو لڑتے ہوئے دیکھا ایک ان کے شیعوں میں سے تھا اور ایک دشمنوں میں سے تو جو ان کے شیعوں میں سے تھا اس نے دشمن کے ظلم کی فریاد کی تو موسٰی نے اسے ایک گھونسہ مار کر اس کی زندگی کا فیصلہ کردیا اور کہا کہ یہ یقینا شیطان کے عمل سے تھا اور یقینا شیطان دشمن اور کھنَا ہوا گمراہ کرنے والا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (Satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"
[ PICKTHAL ] And he entered the city at a time of carelessness of its folk, and he found therein two men fighting, one of his own caste, and the other of his enemies; and he who was of his caste asked him for help against him who was of his enemies. So Moses struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: This is of the devil's doing. Lo! he is an enemy, a mere misleader.
[ SHAKIR ] And he went into the city at a time of unvigilance on the part of its people, so he found therein two men fighting, one being of his party and the other of his foes, and he who was of his party cried out to him for help against him who was of his enemies, so Musa struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: This is on account of the Shaitan's doing; surely he is an enemy, openly leading astray.
[ REMARKS : Shia means - belonging to the party of - or - follower of. Opposite word of Shia used in Quran is Uddo which means enemy. ]

اور یقینا نوح علیہ السّلام ہی کے پیروکاروں میں سے ابراہیم علیہ السّلام بھی تھے
[YOUSAF ALI] Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham.
[ PICKTHAL ] And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham
[ SHAKIR ] And most surely Ibrahim followed his way.
[ REMARKS : Hazrat Ibrahim(a.s.) was a Shia of Hazrat Noh(a.s.) ]
