Purpose of creation

1. Sura: 51 - adh-Dhaariyat (The Winnowing Winds) Ayat: 56

   وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ (56

   اور میں نے جنات اور انسانوں کو صرف اپنی عبادت کے لئے پیدا کیا ہے(

   [YOUSAF ALI] I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.

   [ PICKTHAL ] I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me.

   [ SHAKIR ] And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.

   [ REMARKS : Jinn and humans are created for ibadat ]
