- Sura: 53 - an-Najm (The Star) From Ayat: 1 to 5
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ (1
قسم ہے ستارہ کی جب وہ ٹوٹا
[YOUSAF ALI] By the Star when it goes down,-
[ PICKTHAL ] By the Star when it setteth,
[ SHAKIR ] I swear by the star when it goes down.
[ REMARKS : Prophet(sawaw) does not speak out of his whims but wahi descends upon him. He never goes astray. He is complete in knowledge since he was taught by Allah(swt). ]

تمہارا ساتھی نہ گمراہ ہوا ہے اور نہ بہکا
[YOUSAF ALI] Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled.
[ PICKTHAL ] Your comrade erreth not, nor is deceived;
[ SHAKIR ] Your companion does not err, nor does he go astray;

وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ (3
اور وہ اپنی خواہش سے کلام بھی نہیں کرتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire.
[ PICKTHAL ] Nor doth he speak of (his own) desire.
[ SHAKIR ] Nor does he speak out of desire.

اس کا کلام وہی وحی ہے جو مسلسل نازل ہوتی رہتی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] It is no less than inspiration sent down to him:
[ PICKTHAL ] It is naught save an inspiration that is inspired,
[ SHAKIR ] It is naught but revelation that is revealed,

اسے نہایت طاقت والے نے تعلیم دی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He was taught by one Mighty in Power,
[ PICKTHAL ] Which one of mighty powers hath taught him,
[ SHAKIR ] The Lord of Mighty Power has taught him,
