- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 286

اللہ کسی نفس کو اس کی وسعت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتا۔ ہر نفس کے لئے اس کی حاصل کی ہوئی نیکیوں کا فائدہ بھی ہے اور اس کی کمائی ہوئی برائیوں کا مظلمہ بھی- پروردگار! ہم جو کچھ بھول جائیں یا ہم سے غلطی ہو جائے اس کا ہم سے مواخذہ نہ کرنا۔ خدایا ہم پر ویسا بوجھ نہ ڈالنا جیسا پہلے والی امتوں پر ڈالا گیا ہے پروردگار! ہم پر وہ بار نہ ڈالنا جس کی ہم میں طاقت نہ ہو۔ ہمیں معاف کردینا ، ہمیں بخش دینا ، ہم پر رحم کرنا ، تو ہمارا مولا اور مالک ہے اب کافروں کے مقابلہ میں ہماری مدد فرما
[YOUSAF ALI] On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that which it hath earned, and against it (only) that which it hath deserved. Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark! Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as thou didst lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us, Thou, our Protector, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.
[ SHAKIR ] Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought: Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us, Our Lord do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people.

[YOUSAF ALI] Nay, Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers.
[ PICKTHAL ] But Allah is your Protector, and He is the Best of Helpers.
[ SHAKIR ] Nay! Allah is your Patron and He is the best of the helpers.

- Sura: 6 - al-An`aam (The Cattle) Ayat: 62
ثُمَّ رُدُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ مَوْلَاهُمُ الْحَقِّ ۚ أَلَا لَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَهُوَ أَسْرَعُ الْحَاسِبِينَ (62
پھر سب اپنے مولائے برحق پروردگار کی طرف پلٹا دئیے جاتے ہیں .... آگاہ ہوجاؤ کہ فیصلہ کا حق صرف اسی کو ہے اور وہ بہت جلدی حساب کرنے والا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Then are men returned unto Allah, their protector, the (only) reality: Is not His the command? and He is the swiftest in taking account.
[ PICKTHAL ] Then are they restored unto Allah, their Lord, the Just. Surely His is the judgment. And He is the most swift of reckoners.
[ SHAKIR ] Then are they sent back to Allah, their Master, the True one; now surely His is the judgment and He is swiftest in taking account.

- Sura: 22 - al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage) Ayat: 78

اور اللہ کے بارے میں اس طرح جہاد کرو جو جہاد کرنے کا حق ہے کہ اس نے تمہیں منتخب کیا ہے اور دین میں کوئی زحمت نہیں قرار دی ہے یہی تمہارے بابا ابراہیم علیہ السّلام کا دین ہے اس نے تمہارا نام پہلے بھی اور اس قرآن میں بھی مسلم اور اطاعت گزار رکھا ہے تاکہ رسولؐ تمہارے اوپر گواہ رہے اور تم لوگوں کے اعمال کے گواہ رہو لہذا اب تم نماز قائم کرو زکوِٰ اداکرو اور اللہ سے باقاعدہ طور پر وابستہ ہوجاؤ کہ وہی تمہارا مولا ہے اور وہی بہترین مولا اور بہترین مددگار ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help!
[ PICKTHAL ] And strive for Allah with the endeavour which is His right. He hath chosen you and hath not laid upon you in religion any hardship; the faith of your father Abraham (is yours). He hath named you Muslims of old time and in this (Scripture), that the messenger may be a witness against you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protecting friend. A blessed Patron and a blessed Helper!
[ SHAKIR ] And strive hard in (the way of) Allah, (such) a striving a is due to Him; He has chosen you and has not laid upon you an hardship in religion; the faith of your father Ibrahim; He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Messenger may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be bearers of witness to the people; therefore keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and hold fast by Allah; He is your Guardian; how excellent the Guardian and how excellent the Helper!

- Sura: 47 - Muhammad (Muhammad) Ayat: 11
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَوْلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَأَنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ لَا مَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ (11
یہ سب اس لئے ہے کہ اللہ صاحبانِ ایمان کا مولا اور سرپرست ہے اور کافروں کا کوئی پرسانِ حال نہیں ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector.
[ PICKTHAL ] That is because Allah is patron of those who believe, and because the disbelievers have no patron.
[ SHAKIR ] That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, and because the unbelievers shall have no protector for them.
[ REMARKS : Allah is the Maula of momineen and Kuffar have no Maula ]

- Sura: 66 - at-Tahrim (The Prohibition) Ayat: 4
إِنْ تَتُوبَا إِلَى اللَّهِ فَقَدْ صَغَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا ۖ وَإِنْ تَظَاهَرَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ مَوْلَاهُ وَجِبْرِيلُ وَصَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ ظَهِيرٌ (4
اب تم دونوں توبہ کرو کہ تمہارے دلوں میں کجی پیدا ہوگئی ہے ورنہ اگر اس کے خلاف اتفاق کرو گی تو یاد رکھو کہ اللہ اس کا سرپرست ہے اور جبریل اور نیک مومنین اور ملائکہ سب اس کے مددگار ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] If ye two turn in repentance to Him, your hearts are indeed so inclined; But if ye back up each other against him, truly Allah is his Protector, and Gabriel, and (every) righteous one among those who believe,- and furthermore, the angels - will back (him) up.
[ PICKTHAL ] If ye twain turn unto Allah repentant, (ye have cause to do so) for your hearts desired (the ban); and if ye aid one another against him (Muhammad) then lo! Allah, even He, is his Protecting Friend, and Gabriel and the righteous among the believers; and furthermore the angels are his helpers.
[ SHAKIR ] If you both turn to Allah, then indeed your hearts are already inclined (to this); and if you back up each other against him, then surely Allah it is Who is his Guardian, and Jibreel and -the believers that do good, and the angels after that are the aiders.
[ REMARKS : Maula in the meaning of helper. Allah is Maula of Rasool(sawaw) and so is Jibreel(as) and Saleh Momineen and Malaeka. ]
