Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 165 (165
لوگوں میں کچھ ایسے لوگ بھی ہیں جو اللہ کے علاوہ دوسروں کو اس کا مثل قرار دیتے ہیں اور ان سے اللہ جیسی محبت بھی کرتے ہیں جب کہ ایمان والوں کی تمام تر محبّت خدا سے ہوتی ہے اور اے کاش ظالمین اس بات کو اس وقت دیکھ لیتے جو عذاب کو دیکھنے کے بعد سمجھیں گے کہ ساری قوت صرف اللہ کے لئے ہے اور اللہ سخت ترین عذاب کرنے والا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Yet there are men who take (for worship) others besides Allah, as equal (with Allah): They love them as they should love Allah. But those of Faith are overflowing in their love for Allah. If only the unrighteous could see, behold, they would see the penalty: that to Allah belongs all power, and Allah will strongly enforce the penalty.
[ PICKTHAL ] Yet of mankind are some who take unto themselves (objects of worship which they set as) rivals to Allah, loving them with a love like (that which is the due) of Allah (only) - those who believe are stauncher in their love for Allah - Oh, that those who do evil had but known, (on the day) when they behold the doom, that power belongeth wholly to Allah, and that Allah is severe in punishment!
[ SHAKIR ] And there are some among men who take for themselves objects of worship besides Allah, whom they love as they love Allah, and those who believe are stronger in love for Allah and O, that those who are unjust had seen, when they see the chastisement, that the power is wholly Allah's and that Allah is severe in requiting (evil).
[ REMARKS : Love is For Allah(swt) alone. ]

Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) Ayat: 31 قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ (31
اے پیغمبر! کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر تم لوگ اللہ سے محبّت کرتے ہو تو میری پیروی کرو- خدا بھی تم سے محبّت کرے گا اور تمہارے گناہوں کو بخش دے گا کہ وہ بڑا بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[ PICKTHAL ] Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[ SHAKIR ] Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, MercifuL
[ REMARKS : People ordered to follow Prophet(sawaw) if the love Allah(swt). As a result Allah(swt) will love the people and will forgive them. ]
