- Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) Ayat: 18
شَهِدَ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَأُولُو الْعِلْمِ قَائِمًا بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ (18
اللہ خود گواہ ہے کہ اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے ملائکہ اور صاحبانِ علم گواہ ہیں کہ وہ عدل کے ساتھ قائم ہے- اس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے اور وہ صاحبِ عزّت و حکمت ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] There is no god but He: That is the witness of Allah, His angels, and those endued with knowledge, standing firm on justice. There is no god but He, the Exalted in Power, the Wise.
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah (Himself) is Witness that there is no Allah save Him. And the angels and the men of learning (too are witness). Maintaining His creation in justice, there is no Allah save Him the Almighty, the Wise.
[ SHAKIR ] Allah bears witness that there is no god but He, and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge, maintaining His creation with justice; there is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise.
[ REMARKS : Allah and those rooted firmly in knowledge testify that Allah is the only one worthy of worship. ]

- Sura: 27 - an-Naml (The Ant) From Ayat: 15 to 16
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ عِلْمًا ۖ وَقَالَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (15
اور ہم نے داؤد اور سلیمان کو علم عطا کیا تو دونوں نے کہا کہ خدا کا شکر ہے کہ اس نے ہمیں بہت سے بندوں پر فضیلت عطا کی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe!"
[ PICKTHAL ] And We verily gave knowledge unto David and Solomon, and they said: Praise be to Allah, Who hath preferred us above many of His believing slaves!
[ SHAKIR ] And certainly We gave knowledge to Dawood and Sulaiman, and they both said: Praise be to Allah, Who has made us to excel many of His believing servants.
[ REMARKS : Prophets Sulaiman(a.s.) and Dawood(a.s.) were given knowledge and Sulaiman(a.s.) was made the successor (Waris) of Dawood(a.s.) ]

وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ ۖ وَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنْطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِينُ (16
اور پھر سلیمان داؤد کے وارث ہوئے اور انہوں نے کہا کہ لوگو مجھے پرندوں کی باتوں کا علم دیا گیا ہے اور ہر فضیلت کا ایک حصہ عطا کیا گیا ہے اور یہ خدا کا کھلا ہوا فضل و کرم ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And Solomon was David's heir. He said: "O ye people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from Allah.)"
[ PICKTHAL ] And Solomon was David's heir. And he said: O mankind! Lo! we have been taught the language of birds, and have been given (abundance) of all things. This surely is evident favour.
[ SHAKIR ] And Sulaiman was Dawood's heir, and he said: O men! we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given all things; most surely this is manifest grace.
[ REMARKS : Prophets Sulaiman(a.s.) and Dawood(a.s.) were given knowledge and Sulaiman(a.s.) was made the successor (Waris) of Dawood(a.s.) ]
