- Sura: 9 - at-Tawba (The Repentance) Ayat: 72
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ (72
اللہ نے مومن مرد اور مومن عورتوں سے ان باغات کا وعدہ کیا ہے جن کی نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی -یہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں -ان جنااُ عدن میں پاکیزہ مکانات ہیں اور اللہ کی مرضی تو سب سے بڑی چیز ہے اور یہی ایک عظیم کامیابی ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Allah hath promised to Believers, men and women, gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme felicity.
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah promiseth to the believers, men and women, Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide - blessed dwellings in Gardens of Eden. And - greater (far)! - acceptance from Allah. That is the supreme triumph.
[ SHAKIR ] Allah has promised to the believing men and the believing women gardens, beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetual abode; and best of all is Allah's goodly pleasure; that is the grand achievement.
[ REMARKS : Jannah has gardens under which rivers will be flowing. Those entering Jannah will be there for ever. ]

- Sura: 18 - al-Kahf (The Cave) Ayat: 31
أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَيَلْبَسُونَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًا مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ ۚ نِعْمَ الثَّوَابُ وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا (31
ان کے لئے وہ دائمی جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی انہیں سونے کے کنگنپہنائے جائیں گے اور یہ باریک اور دبیز ریشم کے سبز لباس میں ملبوس اور تختوں پر تکیے لگائے بیٹھے ہوں گے یہی ان کے لئے بہترین ثواب اورحسین ترین منزل ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade: They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on!
[ PICKTHAL ] As for such, theirs will be Gardens of Eden, wherein rivers flow beneath them; therein they will be given armlets of gold and will wear green robes of finest silk and gold embroidery, reclining upon throne therein. Blest the reward, and fair the resting-place!
[ SHAKIR ] These it is for whom are gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, ornaments shall be given to them therein of bracelets of gold, and they shall wear green robes of fine silk and thick silk brocade interwoven with gold, reclining therein on raised couches; excellent the recompense and goodly the resting place.

فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ (17
پس کسی نفس کو نہیں معلوم ہے کہ اس کے لئے کیا کیا خنکی چشم کا سامان چھپا کر رکھا گیا ہے جو ان کے اعمال کی جزا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Now no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them - as a reward for their (good) deeds.
[ PICKTHAL ] No soul knoweth what is kept hid for them of joy, as a reward for what they used to do.
[ SHAKIR ] So no soul knows what is hidden for them of that which will refresh the eyes; a reward for what they did.

أَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْمَأْوَىٰ نُزُلًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ (19
جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہیں اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے ہیں ان کے لئے آرام کرنے کی جنتیں ہیں جو ان کے اعمال کی جزا ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable homes, for their (good) deeds.
[ PICKTHAL ] But as for those who believe and do good works, for them are the Gardens of Retreat - a welcome (in reward) for what they used to do.
[ SHAKIR ] As for those who believe and do good, the gardens are their abiding-place; an entertainment for what they did.

وَسِيقَ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ زُمَرًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ طِبْتُمْ فَادْخُلُوهَا خَالِدِينَ (73
اور جن لوگوں نے اپنے رب کا تقویٰ اختیار کیا انہیں جنّت کی طرف گروہ در گروہ لے جایا جائے گا یہاں تک کہ جب اس کے قریب پہنچیں گے اور اس کے دروازے کھول دیئے جائیں گے تو اس کے خزانہ دار کہیں گے کہ تم پر ہمارا سلام ہو تم پاک و پاکیزہ ہو لہٰذا ہمیشہ کے لئے جنت میں داخل ہوجاؤ
[YOUSAF ALI] And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds: until behold, they arrive there; its gates will be opened; and its keepers will say: "Peace be upon you! well have ye done! enter ye here, to dwell therein."
[ PICKTHAL ] And those who keep their duty to their Lord are driven unto the Garden in troops till, when they reach it, and the gates thereof are opened, and the warders thereof say unto them: Peace be unto you! Ye are good, so enter ye (the Garden of delight), to dwell therein;
[ SHAKIR ] And those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord shall be conveyed to the garden in companies; until when they come to it, and its doors shall be opened, and the keepers of it shall say to them: Peace be on you, you shall be happy; therefore enter it to abide.

[ SHAKIR ] Reclining therein on raised couches, they shall find therein neither (the severe heat of) the sun nor intense cold.

[YOUSAF ALI] And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls.
[ PICKTHAL ] There wait on them immortal youths, whom, when thou seest, thou wouldst take for scattered pearls.
[ SHAKIR ] And round about them shall go youths never altering in age; when you see them you will think them to be scattered pearls.

عَالِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُنْدُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ ۖ وَحُلُّوا أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا (21
ان کے اوپر کریب کے سبز لباس اور ریشم کے حلّے ہوں گے اور انہیں چاندی کے کنگن پہنائے جائیں گے اور انہیں ان کا پروردگار پاکیزہ شراب سے سیراب کرے گا
[YOUSAF ALI] Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy.
[ PICKTHAL ] Their raiment will be fine green silk and gold embroidery. Bracelets of silver will they wear. Their Lord will slake their thirst with a pure drink.
[ SHAKIR ] Upon them shall be garments of fine green silk and thick silk interwoven with gold, and they shall be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord shall make them drink a pure drink.
