- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 255

اللہ جس کے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے زندہ بھی ہے اور اسی سے کِل کائنات قائم ہے اسے نہ نیند آتی ہے نہ اُونگھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ بھی ہے سب اسی کا ہے۔ کون ہے جو اس کی بارگاہ میں اس کی اجازت کے بغیر سفارش کرسکے۔ وہ جو کچھ ان کے سامنے ہے اور جو پسِ پشت ہے سب کو جانتا ہے اور یہ اس کے علم کے ایک حصہ کا بھی احاطہ نہیں کرسکتے مگر وہ جس قدر چاہے۔ اس کی کرسی علم و اقتدار زمین و آسمان سے وسیع تر ہے اور اسے ان کے تحفظ میں کوئی تکلیف بھی نہیں ہوتی وہ عالی مرتبہ بھی ہے اور صاحبِ عظمت بھی
[YOUSAF ALI] Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).
[ PICKTHAL ] Allah! There is no deity save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous.
[ SHAKIR ] Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great.

- Sura: 10 - Yunus (Jonas) Ayat: 3
إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ ۖ مَا مِنْ شَفِيعٍ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ إِذْنِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ (3
بیشک تمہارا پروردگار وہ ہے جس نے زمین و آسمان کو چھ دنوں میں پیدا کیا ہے پھر اس کے بعد عرش پر اپنا اقتدار قائم کیاہے وہ تمام امور کی تدبیر کرنے والا ہے کوئی اس کی اجازت کے بغیر شفاعت کرنے والا نہیں ہے .وہی تمہارا پروردگار ہے اور اسی کی عبادت کرو کیا تمہیں ہوش نہیں آرہا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then He established Himself upon the Throne, directing all things. There is no intercessor (with Him) save after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Oh, will ye not remind?
[ SHAKIR ] Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and He is firm in power, regulating the affair, there is no intercessor except aher His permission; this is Allah, your Lord, therefore serve Him; will you not then mind?
[ REMARKS : Heavens, skies and earth created in 6 days. No intercession without His permission. ]

- Sura: 19 - Maryam (Mary) Ayat: 47

ابراہیم علیہ السّلام نے کہا کہ خدا آپ کو سلامت رکھے میں عنقریب اپنے رب سے آپ کے لئے مغفرت طلب کروں گا کہ وہ میرے حال پر بہت مہربان ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Abraham said: "Peace be on thee: I will pray to my Lord for thy forgiveness: for He is to me Most Gracious.
[ PICKTHAL ] He said: Peace be unto thee! I shall ask forgiveness of my Lord for thee. Lo! He was ever gracious unto me.
[ SHAKIR ] He said: Peace be on you, I will pray to my Lord to forgive you; surely He is ever Affectionate to me:
[ REMARKS : Ibrahim(as) undertook to make intercession for his father (uncle) ]

- Sura: 19 - Maryam (Mary) Ayat: 87
لَا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِنْدَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا (87
اس وقت کوئی شفاعت کا صاحب هاختیار نہ ہوگا مگر وہ جس نے رحمان کی بارگاہ میں شفاعت کا عہد لے لیا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious.
[ PICKTHAL ] They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord.
[ SHAKIR ] They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah.
[ REMARKS : Right of intercession is already granted by Allah(swt) to the chose one of Allah(swt). He is no other than Prophet Muhammad(sawaw) ]

- Sura: 20 - Taa-haa (Taa-haa) Ayat: 109
يَوْمَئِذٍ لَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُ قَوْلًا (109
اس دن کسی کی سفارش کام نہ آئے گی سوائے ان کے جنہیں خدا نے اجازت دے دی ہو اور وہ ان کی بات سے راضی ہو
[YOUSAF ALI] On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him.
[ PICKTHAL ] On that day no intercession availeth save (that of) him unto whom the Beneficent hath given leave and whose word He accepteth.
[ SHAKIR ] On that day shall no intercession avail except of him whom the Beneficent Allah allows and whose word He is pleased with.
[ REMARKS : Intercession will be from those who have permission from Allah ]

- Sura: 34 - Saba (Sheba) Ayat: 23
وَلَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ۚ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالُوا مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا الْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ (23
اس کے یہاں کسی کی سفارش بھی کام آنے والی نہیں ہے مگر وہ جس کو وہ خود اجازت دیدے یہاں تک کہ جب ان کے دلوں کی ہیبت دور کردی جائے گی تو پوچھیں گے کہ تمہارے پروردگار نے کیا کہا ہے تو وہ جواب دیں گے کہ جو کچھ کہا ہے حق کہا ہے اور وہ بلند و بالا اور بزرگ و برتر ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] "No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, 'what is it that your Lord commanded?' they will say, 'That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great'."
[ PICKTHAL ] No intercession availeth with Him save for him whom He permitteth. Yet, when fear is banished from their hearts, they say: What was it that your Lord said? They say: The Truth. And He is the Sublime, the Great.
[ SHAKIR ] And intercession will not avail aught with Him save of him whom He permits. Until when fear shall be removed from their hearts, They shall say: What is it that your Lord said? They shall say: The truth. And He is the Most High, the Great.
