- Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) Ayat: 31
قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ (31
اے پیغمبر! کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر تم لوگ اللہ سے محبّت کرتے ہو تو میری پیروی کرو- خدا بھی تم سے محبّت کرے گا اور تمہارے گناہوں کو بخش دے گا کہ وہ بڑا بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
[ PICKTHAL ] Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[ SHAKIR ] Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, MercifuL
[ REMARKS : If you love Allah(swt) the follow Prophet(sawaw). Allah(swt) will love you and will forgive your sins. ]

کہہ دیجئے کہ اللہ اور رسولؐ کی اطاعت کرو کہ جو اس سے روگردانی کرے گا تو خدا کافرین کو ہرگز دوست نہیں رکھتا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Say: "Obey Allah and His Messenger": But if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject Faith.
[ PICKTHAL ] Say: Obey Allah and the messenger. But if they turn away, lo! Allah loveth not the disbelievers (in His guidance).
[ SHAKIR ] Say: Obey Allah and the Messenger; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers.
[ REMARKS : Those who do not obey Allah and Rasool are Kafir ]

وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ (132
اور اللہ و رسول کی اطاعت کرو کہ شاید رحم کے قابل ہوجاؤ
[YOUSAF ALI] And obey Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain mercy.
[ PICKTHAL ] And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy.
[ SHAKIR ] And obey Allah and the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy.
[ REMARKS : Follow Allah(swt) and Rasool(sawaw) ]

- Sura: 4 - an-Nisaa' (The Women) Ayat: 80
مَنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ ۖ وَمَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا (80
جو رسول کی اطاعت کرے گا اس نے اللہ کی اطاعت کی اور جو منہ موڑ لے گا تو ہم نے آپ کو اس کا ذمہ دار بناکر نہیں بھیجا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah: But if any turn away, We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds).
[ PICKTHAL ] Whoso obeyeth the messenger hath obeyed Allah, and whoso turneth away: We have not sent thee as a warder over them.
[ SHAKIR ] Whoever obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah, and whoever turns back, so We have not sent you as a keeper over them.
[ REMARKS : Obeying the Prophet(sawaw) is obeying Allah(swt) ]

- Sura: 10 - Yunus (Jonas) Ayat: 35
قُلْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكَائِكُمْ مَنْ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ ۗ أَفَمَنْ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَنْ يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّنْ لَا يَهِدِّي إِلَّا أَنْ يُهْدَىٰ ۖ فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ (35
کہئے کہ کیا تمہارے شرکائ میں کوئی ایسا ہے جو حق کی ہدایت کرسکے اور پھر بتائیے کہ اللہ ہی حق کی ہدایت کرتا ہے اور جو حق کی ہدایت کرتا ہے وہ واقعا قابلِ اتباع ہے یا جو ہدایت کرنے کے قابل بھی نہیں ہے مگر یہ کہ خود اس کی ہدایت کی جائے تو آخر تمہیں کیاہوگیا ہے اور تم کیسے فیصلے کررہے ہو
[YOUSAF ALI] Say: "Of your 'partners' is there any that can give any guidance towards truth?" Say: "It is Allah Who gives guidance towards truth, is then He Who gives guidance to truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? what then is the matter with you? How judge ye?"
[ PICKTHAL ] Say: Is there of your partners (whom ye ascribe unto Allah) one that leadeth to the Truth? Say: Allah leadeth to the Truth. Is He Who leadeth to the Truth more deserving that He should be followed, or he who findeth not the way unless he (himself) be guided. What aileth you? How judge ye?
[ SHAKIR ] Say: Is there any of your associates who guides to the truth? Say: Allah guides to the truth. Is He then Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who himself does not go aright unless he is guided? What then is the matter with you; how do you judge?
[ REMARKS : Those who guide should be followed and not those who themselves need guidance. Not all are equal ]

- Sura: 16 - an-Nahl (The Bee) Ayat: 123

اس کے بعد ہم نے آپ کی طرف وحی کی کہ ابراہیم علیہ السّلام حنیف کے طریقہ کا اتباع کریں کہ وہ مشرکین میں سے نہیں تھے
[YOUSAF ALI] So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah."
[ PICKTHAL ] And afterward We inspired thee (Muhammad, saying): Follow the religion of Abraham, as one by nature upright. He was not of the idolaters.
[ SHAKIR ] Then We revealed to you: Follow the faith of Ibrahim, the upright one, and he was not of the polytheists.
[ REMARKS : Prophet(sawaw) asked to follow the ways of Prophet Ibrahim(a.s.). Prophet Ibrahim(a.s.) was not among the idolators ]
