- Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 159

جو لوگ ہمارے نازل کئے ہوئے واضح بیانات اور ہدایات کو ہمارے بیان کردینے کے بعد بھی چُھپاتے ہیں ان پر اللہ بھی لعنت کرتا ہے اور تمام لعنت کرنے والے بھی لعنت کرتے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,-
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse.
[ SHAKIR ] Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too).
[ REMARKS : Curse of Allah(swt) and others is on those who hide the guidance and statements of Allah(swt) ]

جو لوگ کافر ہو گئے اور اسی حالتِ کفر میں مر گئے ان پر اللہ ملائکہ اور تمام انسانوں کی لعنت ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind;
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! Those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers; on them is the curse of Allah and of angels and of men combined.
[ SHAKIR ] Surely those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, these it is on whom is the curse of Allah and the angels and men all;
[ REMARKS : Curse of Allah(swt), Angels and all People is on Infidels/Unbelievers and who die in that state. ]

خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ (162
وہ اسی لعنت میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے کہ نہ ان کے عذاب میں تخفیف ہوگی اور نہ انہیں مہلت دی جائے گی
[YOUSAF ALI] They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot).
[ PICKTHAL ] They ever dwell therein. The doom will not be lightened for them, neither will they be reprieved.
[ SHAKIR ] Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be given respite.
[ REMARKS : Curse of Allah(swt), Angels and all People is on Infidels/Unbelievers and who die in that state. ]

- Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) From Ayat: 86 to 89
كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَشَهِدُوا أَنَّ الرَّسُولَ حَقٌّ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ (86
خدا اس قوم کو کس طرح ہدایت دے گا جو ایمان کے بعد کافر ہوگئی اور وہ خود گواہ ہے کہ رسول برحق ہے اور ان کے پاس کھلی نشانیاں بھی آچکی ہیں بیشک خدا ظالم قوم کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا
[YOUSAF ALI] How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.
[ PICKTHAL ] How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and (after) they bore witness that the messenger is true and after clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) had come unto them. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
[ SHAKIR ] How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and (after) they had borne witness that the Messenger was true and clear arguments had come to them; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.

[ PICKTHAL ] As for such, their guerdon is that on them rests the curse of Allah and of angels and of men combined.
[ SHAKIR ] (As for) these, their reward is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and of men, all together.

[ PICKTHAL ] They will abide therein. Their doom will not be lightened, neither will they be reprieved;

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ (89
علاوہ ان لوگوں کے جنہوں نے اس کے بعد توبہ کرلی اور اصلاح کرلی کہ خدا غفور اور رحیم ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Except for those that repent (Even) after that, and make amends; for verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[ PICKTHAL ] Save those who afterward repent and do right. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[ SHAKIR ] Except those who repent after that and amend, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

- Sura: 5 - al-Maaida (The Table) Ayat: 78

بنی اسرائیل میں سے کفر اختیار کرنے والوں پر جناب داؤد علیہ السّلام اور جناب عیسٰی علیہ السّلام کی زبان سے لعنت کی جا چکی ہے کہ ان لوگوں نے نافرمانی کی اور ہمیشہ حد سے تجاوز کیا کرتے تھے
[YOUSAF ALI] Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses.
[ PICKTHAL ] Those of the Children of Israel who went astray were cursed by the tongue of David, and of Jesus, son of Mary. That was because they rebelled and used to transgress.
[ SHAKIR ] Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit.
[ REMARKS : Lanat done by Hazrat Eisa(as) and Hazrat Dawood(as) ]

- Sura: 11 - Hud (Hud) From Ayat: 59 to 60
وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ ۖ جَحَدُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا رُسُلَهُ وَاتَّبَعُوا أَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ (59
یہ قوم عاد ہے جس نے پروردگار کی آیتوں کا انکار کیا اس کے رسولوں کی نافرمانی کی اور ہر ظالم و سرکش کا اتباع کرلیا
[YOUSAF ALI] Such were the 'Ad People: they rejected the Signs of their Lord and Cherisher; disobeyed His messengers; And followed the command of every powerful, obstinate transgressor.
[ PICKTHAL ] And such were A'ad. They denied the revelations of their Lord and flouted His messengers and followed the command of every froward potentate.
[ SHAKIR ] And this was Ad; they denied the communications of their Lord, and disobeyed His messengers and followed the bidding of every insolent opposer (of truth).
[ REMARKS : The nation was Aad(as) was cursed (lanti). ]

- Sura: 11 - Hud (Hud) From Ayat: 59 to 60
وَأُتْبِعُوا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ عَادًا كَفَرُوا رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًا لِعَادٍ قَوْمِ هُودٍ (60
اور اس دنیا میں بھی اور قیامت میں بھی ان کے پیچھے لعنت لگادی گئی ہے -آگاہ ہوجاؤ کہ عاد نے اپنے پررودگار کا کفر کیا تو اب ہود کی قوم عاد کے لئے ہلاکت ہی ہلاکت ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] And they were pursued by a Curse in this life,- and on the Day of Judgment. Ah! Behold! for the 'Ad rejected their Lord and Cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were 'Ad the people of Hud!
[ PICKTHAL ] And a curse was made to follow them in the world and on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! A'ad disbelieved in their Lord. A far removal for A'ad, the folk of Hud!
[ SHAKIR ] And they were overtaken by curse in this world and on the resurrection day; now surely Ad disbelieved in their Lord; now surely, away with Ad, the people of Hud.
[ REMARKS : The nation was Aad(as) was cursed (lanti). ]

- Sura: 13 - ar-Ra`ad (The Thunder) Ayat: 25
وَالَّذِينَ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ (25
اور جو لوگ عہدُ خدا کو توڑ دیتے ہیں اور جن سے تعلقات کا حکم دیا گیا ہے اان سے قطع تعلقات کرلیتے ہیں اور زمین میں فساد برپا کرتے ہیں ان کے لئے لعنت اور بدترین گھر ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home!
[ PICKTHAL ] And those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah hath commanded should be joined, and make mischief in the earth: theirs is the curse and theirs the ill abode.
[ SHAKIR ] And those who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder that which Allah has ordered to be joined and make mischief in the land; (as for) those, upon them shall be curse and they shall have the evil (issue) of the abode.
[ REMARKS : Those who break covenant with Allah(swt) and break away relation from those whom Allah(swt) has ordered to remain connected have been cursed and their end would be the worse. ]

- Sura: 33 - al-Ahzaab (The Clans) Ayat: 57
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا مُهِينًا (57
یقینا جو لوگ خدا اور اس کے رسول کو ستاتے ہیں ان پر دنیا اور آخرت میں خدا کی لعنت ہے اور خدا نے ان کے لئے رسوا کن عذاب مہیاّ کر رکھا ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment.
[ PICKTHAL ] Lo! those who malign Allah and His messenger, Allah hath cursed them in the world and the Hereafter, and hath prepared for them the doom of the disdained.
[ SHAKIR ] Surely (as for) those who speak evil things of Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the here after, and He has prepared for them a chastisement bringing disgrace.
[ REMARKS : Lanat of Allah(swt) is on those who give grief to Allah and His Prophet(sawaw) ]
