Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) From Ayat: 11 to 12 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ (11
جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ زمین میں فساد نہ برپا کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تو صرف اصلاح کرنے والے ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"
[ PICKTHAL ] And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only.
[ SHAKIR ] And when it is said to them, Do not make mischief in the land, they say: We are but peace-makers.
[ REMARKS : Mischief creators think that they are guiding the misguided but they in essence create mischief. ]

حالانکہ یہ سب مُفسد ہیں اور اپنے فساد کو سمجھتے بھی نہیں ہیں
[YOUSAF ALI] Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.
[ PICKTHAL ] Are not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not.
[ SHAKIR ] Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive.
[ REMARKS : Mischief creators think that they are guiding the misguided but they in essence create mischief. ]
