1. Sura: 2 - al-Baqara (The Cow) Ayat: 47

   يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ (47

   اے بنی اسرائیل! ہماری ان نعمتوں کویاد کرو جو ہم نے تمہیں عنایت کی ہیں اور ہم نے تمہیں عالمین سے بہتر بنایا ہے

   [YOUSAF ALI] Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other (for My Message).

   [ PICKTHAL ] O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you and how I preferred you to (all) creatures.

   [ SHAKIR ] O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations.

   [ REMARKS : Bani Israel were made the best of creations of their time ]
