- Sura: 3 - aal-`Imraan (The Family of `Imraan) From Ayat: 124 to 125
إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَنْ يَكْفِيَكُمْ أَنْ يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلَاثَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُنْزَلِينَ (124
اس وقت جب آپ مومنین سے کہہ رہے تھے کہ کیا یہ تمہارے لئے کافی نہیں ہے کہ خدا تین ہزار فرشتوں کو نازل کرکے تمہاری مدد کرے
[YOUSAF ALI] Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down?
[ PICKTHAL ] When thou didst say unto the believers: Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should support you with three thousand angels sent down (to your help)?
[ SHAKIR ] When you said to the believers: Does it not suffice you that your Lord should assist you with three thousand of the angels sent down?
[ REMARKS : Allah(swt) helped Muslims in the battle of Badr with 3,000 to 5,000 angels ]

بَلَىٰ ۚ إِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا وَيَأْتُوكُمْ مِنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ (125
یقینا اگر تم صبر کرو گے اور تقوٰی اختیار کرو گے اور دشمن فی الفور تم تک آجائیں گے تو خدا پانچ ہزار فرشتوں سے تمہاری مدد کرے گا جن پر بہادری کے نشان لگے ہوں گے
[YOUSAF ALI] "Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught.
[ PICKTHAL ] Nay, but if ye persevere, and keep from evil, and (the enemy) attack you suddenly, your Lord will help you with five thousand angels sweeping on.
[ SHAKIR ] Yea! if you remain patient and are on your guard, and they come upon you in a headlong manner, your Lord will assist you with five thousand of the havoc-making angels.
[ REMARKS : Allah(swt) helped Muslims in the battle of Badr with 3,000 to 5,000 angels ]

- Sura: 9 - at-Tawba (The Repentance) Ayat: 26
ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنْزَلَ جُنُودًا لَمْ تَرَوْهَا وَعَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ (26
پھر اس کے بعد خدا نے اپنے رسول اور صاحبان هایمان پر سکون نازل کیا اور وہ لشکر بھیجے جنہیں تم نے نہیں دیکھا اور کفر اختیار کرنے والوں پر عذاب نازل کیا یہی کافرین کی جزا اور ان کا انجام ہے
[YOUSAF ALI] But Allah did pour His calm on the Messenger and on the Believers, and sent down forces which ye saw not: He punished the Unbelievers; thus doth He reward those without Faith.
[ PICKTHAL ] Then Allah sent His peace of reassurance down upon His messenger and upon the believers, and sent down hosts ye could not see, and punished those who disbelieved. Such is the reward of disbelievers.
[ SHAKIR ] Then Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers, and sent down hosts which you did not see, and chastised those who disbelieved, and that is the reward of the unbelievers.
